Helmets? Can companion's wear them? Not quite sure how this works with the companions having their own unique styles when it comes to armour, I would assume they can equip helmets for their stat bonuses (even though I am pretty sure they couldn't in DA2?) but how will they appear in game (provided they can equip them this time)? Will the helmet appear as it looks for everyone? Will companions have their own unique helmet and hat styles? Will they even appear at all?

 

Also while we are at it,

 

Helmets? Can Qunari Inquisitors wear them?

Companions have every equipment slot back. However what you put on them will morph a bit to fit more like their own distinct style.

Is "Sex Hat" a nickname for "helmet" or am I totally missing something here?

Other then what Eveangaline said, I was pleased that in the dwarf offscreen demo IB seems to be able to equip a 'medium Inquisitor armour', since when the game passed on that armour the text was White as the armour he later put on.
Some restrictions will be in though, since some armours were coloured red, meaning he won't be able to equipe them, though i don't know if it's about class restrictions or stats restrictions.
