I know, it's weird. I actually find the geth to be relatively easy, and i actually like going against them(except on plat, then i freaking hate them). It seems like I'm kind of in the minority though, as it seems like most people on this site despise geth with a passion. For me I've always hated Collectors the most...stupid butt lazers.

 

Yep, same here. Although it's mostly because of the lack of Phantoms, Banshees and Praetorians

 

I swear, if I could put them all together and then throw a nuke on them...

Yes, i like you. Only one thing I would change, not one nuke...ALL your nukes. You have to make sure.

 

For me as far as easiest faction it goes.

 

Reapers, Geth, Cerb, Collectors. I know, people reading that probably think I'm crazy lol.

Well, it's not that crazy...well, although Ravagers are a serious annoyance, too. But, again, so are the Bombers. And the Hunters.

 

My order should be Geth, Cerberus, Collectors, Reapers (Vanguard/Gold). Why Reapers the most difficult? Because of the Ravagers, which I also hate with a passion as a Novaguard. Against Collectors at least I can (and in fact I usually do) avoid Praetorians and center on foot troopers or Scions, and although Seeker swarms are basically death to me, I usually take them down with Nova before they can do me anything (that's the same reason why I don't hate the Prime's drones either . I very rarely have ever got staggered by them).

 

But Ravagers are a lose/lose for me, too...if I stay close, there's that acid poo risk. If I avoid them, there's that pinpoint laser attack.... ¬¬

Heh, that reminds me that I think I kinda inspired (or at least I wanna think so) someone to try it, too. Thing is that I finished an usual relaxing Silver match, and a guy changed his class to a Novaguard for the next match. He was also with the default red color, which I think it's some proof as well, lol.

I tried him when i first started, and i was obviously not as good as i am now, and i sucked. So i just never bothered using him again. But lately I've seen a few very well played novaguards, and it kinda made me consider trying him again. And you're post just made me think of it again. I'll add it to the list. I have a lot of new builds i want to try lol.

Though I do miss grabbing Pyros.  Something about doing that just made me laugh.  This poor Geth Pyro thought he was all bad azz with his flamethrower and gets hauled over a console and stabbed in the face.  Priceless.

I came to the game too late to grab Pyros. (Actually, I think it still works on the WiiU, but I'm too conditioned to avoid it...ust try sometime).

 

But if it was consistent, they'd blow up because stabbing them in the face would puncture the fuel tank, right? (Because Biovar hates us, I mean.)

Yes, but the opportunity to punish the player completely trumps any principles about remaining either consistent or inconsistent.

 

We think Reapers are the slimy scum of the universe, but to Biovar it's us.

I miss these enemy units. Geth Destroyer and Geth Hopper were the most memorable units from ME1, for me.  


 
I think it would have been cooler if the Geth Pyro had the same skin as the ME2 Geth Destroyer and that Geth Hunters were the ME2 version. There's nothing like a 10-11 foot enemy charging you with a shotgun or flamethrower. It would make the geth more intimidating. ME1 Geth were the best to fight as there was so much variety of Geth units to face.

I loved how the ME2 Geth didn't have any Geth weapons other than the troopers.

 

ME3 has the same issue, but at least the Prime isn't weilding a revenant anymore.

If they had these instead of the dumb stunlock mechanic, Geth would've been so much more fun to fight.
