So I was wondering who else was planning this. I found out with a ps4 and vita you can play DAI anywhere. It will stream the game over the net to the vita. I really like the sound of that
Wait are you talking about speicifically the Vita streaming abilities or getting the PS4 specifically with Inquisition? Because that is what I intend to do...I hope.
Maker willing.

I plan to buy a PS4. but no vita or anything. I simply don't have a gaming PC, and I have thinked about buyng the PS4 from some time now (and my old PS3 is starting to insult me with all the hard work I have given it) and there are many interesting titles I can't give up. the order 1886, uncharted 4, kingdom hearts 3, bloodBourne...
I could buy DAI for the PS3, but I'd prefer play it on the new console.

Would like a Vita, I hear there is a Vita + PS4 bundle coming soon.
Not tried remote play yet, but I'd like to think this is how a next gen experience should be.

Same here. :/ I will if I have to but I don't really want to. I mean as ambivalent as I am about graphics and stuff it would still be nice to enjoy it with the best graphics fidelity I can get a hold of.

I have a PS4, it was my holiday present
I am getting Inquisition for it first and playing as Bioware intends for a year or so... Then I'm getting the PC version and modding the crap out of it.....

You can't stream the game via the internet on a Vita. You wouldn't want to even if you could anyway - the latency would make the game unplayable.
I'm getting it for PC and coupled with the Nvidia shield, I'll be basically doing the same thing, except at full 60 FPS
I've got an Xbone, but I don't play games on that.

OP is talking about remote play on the Vita, which uses either PS4 or your router's wifi. Reports have been generally positive about it.
I have a Vita, and will be buying a PS4 for this. I wanted Inquisition to be the first PS4 game I play, so I've been holding off. That way all the other games I want to play are cheaper, too.
As one of the few people who has a Vita guys: once you have one, you freaking love it. Great piece of hardware.

I know what he/she meant, but I think OP is confused and thinks she can stream outside her local network. I was clarifying. Only local network streaming, and you'll need a decent router with decent wireless. That's how the Nvidia shield works as well.

Not strictly for this game, but it definitely plays a role in my reasoning!

Not getting a Vita, but I did specifically request a PS4 as my birthday present this year just so I could have it for DA:I.
I now have it, so at this point I'm poking at a current library of two games on it until DA:I drops. Will be getting some others for it as well (Destiny, The Order: 1886, maybe Evolve), but the original purpose of it was to upgrade in time for DA:I. ![]()

I'm getting a PS4 but not just for this. I want to play games like The Order 1886, Uncharted 4, Destiny, NBA 2K15/15, Madden 25/15, WWE 2K15, Watch Dogs, The Division and more all on the next gen. Better visuals and stuff.

Actually it works over the internet too. Google if you don't believe it. This is a huge selling point for me personally being able to play DAI on the go. Of course I can't say personally how well internet streaming works

Took up your challenge, and here is what I found, http://youtu.be/BMaVsDvZbAI. If it's legit then there will be so many incomplete office work this fall.Actually it works over the internet too. PS I own an xbox 360 too. Just wanted to try the Sony for a change.

I wasn't sure if it would be able to see the local PS4 over the internet, but as I mentioned, it's a useless feature. You won't be able to play anywhere you don't have access to really good wifi, and then you're still at the mercy of latency.
The shield also supports streaming over the internet but it's not a usable feature.

Yes, definitely. Not immediately though, sadly. I'm pre-ordering both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. While I wait for Black Friday to roll around, I'll enjoy the game on my PS3. Then I'll brave the Black Friday sale to get a PS4. [Then I'll likely sell the PS3 version of the game, since the PS4 will be of superior graphics]

It depends on what they announce for some form of multiplayer/coop if I get an extra copy to play with all my lesser console friends.
