In some official Bioware releases, there are some..,, Irregularities.

These strange floating people in the pictures. Glitches in images they have given out to the public to try and make the game look good.
How did these things get past quality control?

  DA-Inquisition-screenshot-05.jpg

See that guy dressed as Orisino or whatever his name was in DA2? And how he's just hovering there? No rope, no support. Just standing with his arms dangling just hovering.

And there's a random elf hovering far in the background of this pic, sadly I can't get the file from my documents so I can't easily point it out but...

Dressed in red next to the first pillar. Another person just... hovering.

What's the deal Bioware? Some terrible Viral marketing or are you so lazy you let images with glitches in them get out to the press?

Check out the stairs on the opposite side of the first picture. There's a ramp leading down at about mid height. That's what the elf dude is standing on, the platform on the other side is heavily covered with leaves so it's harder to spot.

edit: the more I look at it, the weirder the arrangement with that tree next to him looks. Maybe he's literally hanging from it o.O

hey, at least that proves the screenshots to be actual game footage.

first one does seem strange, but the vegetation on which the character stands may actually be accessible.

second one seems too distant to determine.

Well, they're either glitches that still need to be squashed that escaped the notice of the people putting out the images or....

Slenderman has come to DA:I!!!

Those pictures are from BioWare's own marketing material.

I think the person in the first pic may be a mage that killed himself, if not then a glitch and as for the person in red in the second pic, could be a random NPC

It both instances they could just be standing awkwardly in the grass as opposed to floating...

As far as I recall Bioware confirmed it is indeed a glitch.

Also, as far as I know they have nobody tasked with examining screenshots before they are shown to the public. This can be good because they don't show the public bullshots making the game look better than it actually looks as many other developers are wont to do. The negative is that showing glitches is amateurish. However, Bioware isn't the only one showing off glitches, CDPR has done the same with a recent batch of screenshots if the Witcher 3, see Geralt on horse with sword floating outside of scabbard, hook in his leg and arrow coming out of his back, all in one screenshot.

I had to stare at these for a reeeeeally long time before I figured out what you are talking about.  It's actually pretty creepy once you notice them.

Maybe its 2 mages fighting and the one on the right is hiding behind the tree and the "floating one" on the left is looking for the one on the right.

The second image, I don't know. Maybe the character just felt like standing in that particular spot
