Come on people, Dorian is blatantly going to be gay. We known one male character is going to 100% be gay and let's face it it isn't Cullen, Iron Bull or Blackwall and certainly not Cole....
There are other threads for this, but someone brought up the possible suggestion of having the bi romances be the ones gated by race, which if you then upped the amount of LIs to eight, would still provide equal options for every possible combination of race/gender
For example:
Cullen (Straight, every race)
The Iron Bull (Bi, Qunari/Human)
Solas (Bi, Elf/Dwarf)
Dorian (Gay, every race)
Cassandra (Straight, every race)
Vivienne (Bi, Qunari/Dwarf)
Scribbles (Bi, Elf/Human)
Sera (Lesbian, all races)
Which I could get behind. Not this scenario specifically, but the method in terms of fairness. The only thing that is a bit off-putting is that since the only non-human female Inquisition member is confirmed to be a lesbian, one of the remaining options would be gated against their own race, which would seem a little out of place.

There's very little I'd change here, quite similar to my own list.
But the other part of me would be kinda angry is the Dramatic Hands Flamboyant Dorian was the s/s male romance because it seems a bit... stereotypical to make him s/s.
He has a very traditional gay male look, too, with that mustache. It's old-fashioned, but it's a distinct look belonging to a distinct community and period in time.
I don't want him to be the m/m LI because I'm not into him, but to be honest, a ton of guys seem to dig him, and I don't want to deny them their favorite LI, so for that reason I'd be totally okay with him being m/m only.

I think Blackwall has the best chance out of those three. Iron Bull's bio hints at bisexuality, and Solas and Sera both being same sex-only seems odd (but not impossible of course).

I could see Varric being into elves too. Considering how sweet he was to Merrill. Although, I also wouldn't be surprised if he was STILL unromancable.

Because the gay character is going to be somebody open to all gay players regardless if what race they pick most likely, hence why I'd say IB is out of being the 100% gay character, it won't be Cullen given his background and overwhelming female fanbase.
I'd say Blackwall and Solas are a possibility, but in Tevinter homosexuality is apparently not accepted too much there which is where Dorian is from, you've got character development right there.
I like this list too. Though I fear it might be a bit TOO generous. 6 options per gender? Seems too good to be true.
Yeah, I have to admid that I am a bit optimistic here - or hopelessly naive.
What are your predictions about the companions' sexual orientations? Aside from the romances we are already aware of, who else do you think is romanceable?
Beyond that, if you suspect there will be race restrictions, what do you predict will be said restrictions with each companion?

I know I'm going to be making an male inquisitor just for him if he's not! And I don't really like playing in a male pc where I'm not required to.

There is nothing saying that Cass and Cullen couldn't have ... uh expanded their horizons since the last time they showed interest in someone sexually (Origins and the anime) but I would say that C(2) are pretty safe bets as straight at the very least. Cass has a better chance at being bi than Cullen because something wants me to say they're not going to make both of the NPC romances (Scribe Girl) bi.

I figured he was gay because we know Cullen isn't because he had an interest in a female mage in origins. Since I think that IB and Dorian are the other romance options, I figure they wouldn't make the Qunari be a male exclusive romance. And he seems to react romantically (imo) towards Alexius, though he still can be bi (if he's a romance at all).
