Mmnhm.  The other stupid dating ritual/expectation I liked bypassing by paying my own way is the whole "well, I paid for dinner/the evening, now you are obligated/pressured to put out."  Nnnnope.

Wait, you mean I didn't HAVE to give it up? I thought buying dinner and paying for a movie was down payment on genitalia

Maybe its based off of societal norms.  Maybe it's based off of personal inclination.  The etiology doesn't matter if it's in line with their personal inclinations and isn't harmful to anyone.

Since you're not willing to actually address my argument, there's no point in pursuing this line of discussion.

False.

There are biological differences, which should really only impact a doctor/ intimate partner. In all other ways, I agree.

Do you think that's a coincidence? Do you think we live in a vacuum? Even then, how are gender roles functional in any way?

A lot of gender roles derive from human evolutionary traits and sexual dimorphism, they're part of the human nature whether you like them or not.

Those won't be going away in thousands of years.

You're last post didn't contain an argument so I thought an answer would be suitable.  Sorry if it didn't satisfy you.

Since everyone ignored my response to this last page, let me restate it here: there are men with vaginae and women with penises.

Unless you want to wait a couple thousand years that is.

Uhm, some might be evolutionary traits, but many are societal constructs.

Not really. Gender roles are more often dictated by individual societies as opposed to evolution. It's a mix of nature and nurture, but the specifics involved are definitely nurture based.

I agree. However, a medical professional/ loved one might need to know the physiological and biological aspects of this as well, for medical purposes. I didn't ignore it.

Bullshit. Gender roles derive from men being insecure because a woman just maybe might be better at something than them.

All a medical professional needs to know about anybody's body is the presence of certain organs. It's not like a doctor is going to ignore the fact that a woman has a penis just because she doesn't identify as male. And I mean, there are women with breasts and penises.
