Hey, I can live with two, too. It actually makes sense, if you actually prescribe to this amazing thing called logic... Since both the beginning and the end would probably be much more linear than the middle of the game, it would stand to reason that it would just be easier on everyone with this way.

I don't see how they couldn't have gotten the data on both discs without having us swap twice, unless the end of the game requires us to backtrack so some random location from the beginning of the game that would've been too much of a space waster to duplicate onto the second disc.
And if that's the case, they should've just put in a third disc. I've played many a game that required disc swapping in my day, and this, by far, is the only time where I'm dumbfounded by the swappage.

Yeah, more discs means more content, I wouldn't care if I had to switch six discs.

Back in the Baldurs Gate days we had to swap discs like every time we entered a different area.
I mean theoretically you could install it all to your hard drive, but that was like a 2+ gig game, which would have put a major strain on my 8 gig hard drive.

no disc swap at all
