I kind of like this for Rael from the witcher mod (assuming it's the one you mean)

Less white and red and more gold, green, and blue tho :)

Doable?

Wow, it would be beyond awesome if you wanted to write her for inclusion in the mod!   I would never write anybody else's character without their active cooperation, but the mod would be that much better with Tempest in it.

I wanted to write up an outline of required dialogues, but I got stuck working overtime and that didn't happen. I'll post some examples now to give you some idea.

  • Two follower-initiated dialouges. Think, Alistair's Ostagar "Tell me about yourself" dialogue and his "So, you were raised by dogs?" dialogue. One establishes boundaries and the other is exposition. Beldin's first "getting to know you" dialogue is not done, but it's posted here, and you'll get the idea.
  • Four or five "additional detail" convos. These can be very brief if you would prefer to keep them short, but you don't have to. For an example of that, think, "Tell me about the Grey Wardens" and the lamppost licking dialogue.
  • Various interjection lines such as Alistair's "That just seems so excessive" when he passes under the corpses in the Korcari Wilds or his lamppost dialogue. They can and should be short.
  • One or two banters with every other character.

And regarding the combat posts, I hadn't forgotten you, but with four "player writes" votes and one "whichever you decide" vote, I figured that it was safe to make a ruling. If you felt strongly about it, I would have asked he others to reconsider, but I'm glad you approve of writing the combat yourself.

No. I can't alter the color scheme of mod outfits. Buut there might be a Witcher leather armor style that is appropriate.

Also, keep in mind that the outfits you specify will only be applicable in our in-game screenshots. The authors of the various mods I use are very protective of their creations, and I'm not sure I have the fortitude to negotiate the use of their mods in mine.

You can work with the standard stuff tho? Change the colors? Where would I look at that?

I'll get to work on some dialog for Tempest, then. :)

I'm also looking at clothing for her, but I'm having trouble because everything shows so much skin and she's pretty modest.

If Rael doesn't want this, it could actually work for Tempest. She'd wear something like that.

The one I posted above is actually from the wrong mod, sorry Hannah!

Here's one that's from Loincloth fashions that's pretty covered up

For Rael, I think Tallis' armor is best.

Thanks Berelinde!

I'm not sure it's available for humans, but I can find out.

It looks *a lot* like your doll drawing with the fitted corset and leggings, so I thought you might. I'll do a screen test once I get her head morph made, and you can approve it or not then.

@Hannah: That texture is available for human females and I have tested it, so we're good to go. I just have to do a headmorph for Tempest and we're set.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't see any outfit that would include her scarf so it can just be left to the imagination. :)

Where could I find the mentioned clothes? Not that it is that important for Bartha... as long as it is a bit fancy, yet practical, she's fine :)

Have some links to the mods I have on my computer and are therefore available to you. I am dangerously close to the hardcoded model limit (if I haven't already passed it), so I can't add a single more armor mod. That said, I would not mind adding this mod for Tempest, as it does not add a model, merely a retexture of a mod I already have, and it's possible that Hannah may find the colors more suitable for her.

RLs Kirkwall Emporium

Kirkwall Exports

The Witcher 2 DAO (You have to go to the "user" tab to see the armors)

Grey Warden Armors

Cool outfits! Hmm...

I think I like the loincloths outfits best, although the pictures are quite small... I could see her using the viscounts robe (probably more intown) or the rogue pack 2.

Spoiler

Not that many hair styles for dwarves, and even less that match my image of Bartha... Where are the braids?! Oh well... guess she can do with either of the following:

I really like that last hairstyle for Bartha, Mahumia. :)

Also, I was looking at different hairstyles for Rael, since I wasn't terribly thorough when I first sent you the character I made in chargen. I like these better:

There are SOOO MANY!!  Just pick whichever one looks the best with the armor and has the least clipping. Thanks!

They're all going to clip horribly, but the one with the feather earrings will probably clip least. Which mod, exactly, is that from? I don't recognize it, but then, I don't roll many female elves.

Keep in mind that you aren't going to see close-ups of your characters very often. I'll be taking screenshots of scenes for illustration purposes, so mostly, it will be full-body poses of your characters standing around using various idle animations.

I love that haircut for Rael! And yes, there are sooo many... (just not for dwarves)

Yeah, I don't know what's up with that. It seems as if all of the appearance mods have lots of stuff for humans and elves, but the dwarves get left out in the cold. And it makes no sense. Yes, you have to adjust the mesh to suit a different "skeleton," but you have to do that for elves, too.

I'll just be over here grumbling about how little modder attention my beloved Brosca receives. That's one of the reasons I would like to include Bartha in the mod. She's a great character, but there's also the matter of representation!

Edit: In other news, I heard from Boom. She's able to use a tablet to interact on the forums, so she's still around, and she's still interested in playing, but right now, going back and forth between PDF files and forums and sites with java script and all is beyond its capabilities. She's hoping that she'll be able to join up with the group at a later date. At this point, I'm torn. On the one hand, I'm eagerly looking forward to introducing her character... but I'm growing attached to the idea of having a character in the campaign myself. It really is a lot of fun interacting with this party as something other than just a moderator. Maybe it's possible to do both? Would three warriors be too many?

Question about gameplay! :D

Can non mages *feel* magic being cast on them? Can Tess, in theory, feel the magic that Etienne's using on her? The magic itself, I mean, not the touch on her back.

:)

If so, can it be perfumed, too? #Orlesian

(Totally just kidding. Ish)
