Beldin's reaction is a lot like Bartha's. He's looking around him wondering how it can be possible that everyone already knows each other (that's what he gets for sitting in a corner by himself at the pub and then spending the night on the watch tower instead of knocking on strange women's doors), and he's trying to act all cool and professional while standing elbow to elbow with two women he finds attractive who are both handling the situation a lot better than he is. The fact that he was the damsel in distress earlier and that they were the knights in shining armor does not make it easier. Oh, and that whole mage thing is seriously freaking him out. He's been told since he was a toddler that mages melt your face off if you look at them funny. If Tempest waved hello at this point, he'd probably wet his pants.
So yeah, I'm kinda glad that we're going to hold off a little while for Etienne and Tempest to have a chat because I want to post an awkward "Uh... hi" for him.
