Guh, not in the least bit! We've been sitting at over 101 for the last week. We need some rain to kick everything out of the air. But alas, summer in Texas..

It's been a weird summer! We're normally cracking 110 or so by this time in the year, but we've had a LOT of rain (typically don't have any from June till September) and even had two cold fronts about two weeks ago. Got down in the 60's

He's 24. In my experience, your average 24 year old male thinks about sex about 6 times per second, on average. It's a biological fact. Granted, about half of those times, they're berating themselves for thinking about sex 24/7, but it still counts.

Then she caught sight of Tempest. The mage had nearly come unhinged when she saw the dead girl in the last house. Maker knew what she would do if she saw more of this family slain in such a manner. Especially if that baby... Rael shook her head against such horrors and turned to the mage.  "Tempest, would you stand guard with me outside?" she asked, hoping the mage wouldn't probe too deeply about why she was volunteered.

Checking the vacation thread, it looks like my estimations are off. I thought you were getting back on the 2nd, but it isn't until the 6th. It's Bramble that's going to be gone the 1st and 2nd. Do we want to do the 2nd farmhouse before then? Unless somebody in the party starts swinging at somebody else in the party, I don't anticipate combat before then.

 

If everyone is done with their post-combat RP, we can move on to exploring Hann & Faleen's house, but I still need to know who's going and who's remaining outside. So far, I have:

Tempest

 

Once Etienne, Laurelin, and Tessa announce their intentions, we can move on.

 

 

As an aside, my tabletop group had 7 combat encounters last week. Seven! Not all of those encounters had to end in combat, but the abbreviated group is more focused on taking the shortest distance between two points, and a lot of the time, that means combat. I've started using the combat spreadsheet I made up for this group in that campaign, and it's sped things up considerably. I was scribbling it all out on a notepad before, and that was tedious. I type a lot faster than I write, and copy/paste is your friend.

Bartha is very capable of starting a brawl, whether that is with team members of not, but I'll behave Na, unlikely, unless someone starts making not so tactful comments and doesn't shut up after a warning... she still has anger management issues  

 

And 7 combat encounters 0.o That's a LOT! I hope we won't get that many...

Oh, they finished this adventure weeks ago. They've pretty much wrapped up the next adventure, too, A Bann Too Many, but they got waylaid for a little while on a different adventure, which has a lot of smaller encounters. Except for the one, which had 22 enemies (most of which were one hit kills, but they decided to send the rogue on ahead and he failed a stealth roll and wound up dying because 6 attacked him at once and I rolled a natural 18 - my first ever with real dice - so 6 stunt points).

And poor Beldin... I really don't think he's a lecher, no worries! *huggles Beldin* Bartha is just a bit biased and hormonic challenged herself, so she is bound to misinterpreted things   I think of her as your average student who finally got 'released' into college after being 'bound' at home... Freedom! Alcohol! Boys!
