I like the idea!Unless magic is involved some injuries are expected to leave scars. Not to mention that it will give more RP opportunities. ![]()

I'm good with that too... Just hoping Rael doesn't get any on her face. It's her money maker after all...

I agree with above statements: non-magical healing of non-superficial wounds will most likely leave scars.
And love triangle? Where? *hurries towards the game thread with a big bag of popcorn*

Share the love?

Speaking of sharing the love, I've had questions from two people from the Cullenites group about joining. How do we feel about adding two new characters once we're at a good place for it? I could go either way. On the one hand, we're at a good number now. On the other, we are saving seats for Boom and potentially fiance (who is probably never going to get around to it).

I think we've got quite an actively posting group, which means that we don't need to wait for long for 'our turn'. Small scale roleplay might become a bit harder though. I guess I'm fairly neutral about it, to be honest
It can go both ways.
As GM you've got the last call, of course ![]()

But as Mahumia said you have the last call as the GM.

I wouldn't mind a couple of new players at all, actually. We did lose Artemis (who I'm positive will not be rejoining) and there's always a chance that Boom/fiance might not join in.
Or a chance that the two potential players might think we are silly and drop out.
(JUST KIDDING)

The sillier the better
Wasn't that pretty much a prerequisite of the Cullen thread anyway?
And well, truth be told: I was also allowed to join whilst you were already considered to be 'full'

I really like our little group, but I will admit that I can see good points to adding a couple folks. I'll abide by whatever the majority decides. ![]()
Edited to add: I'm fine with obssessedwjpn specifically. ![]()
The rest stands though. I worry about the group getting unwieldy, or about the dynamics getting weird, but I'm curmudgeonly like that and I hate change. *grin*

But usually my 'oh no, changes!' worries turn out to be redundant anyway. I think the most important part is whether Berelinde is up for it, as it creates more work for her, I guess?

I don't know. With a little new blood, it may soon be "Beldin who?" But that's cool! I enjoy participating in the game as a player as well as a DM, but ultimately, he was there as a placeholder for Boom. Manvalanche and obsessedwjpn wish to run warriors (I've placed no limitations on their class selections, so they may play whatever class they wish), there are multiple exit opportunities. We'll play it by ear. Combat scales according to the number of participants, so there's no harm in inviting more, but if you guys start walking all over everything, we'll take it as it comes. Plus, there's nothing to prevent me from upping the challenge rating in other ways... ![]()
Long story short, the entire reason I set up this game was to have fun. Anything that lets us keep having fun is good. Anything that prevents us from having fun needs a rethink. We'll make it work. ![]()
But yeah, if both Manvalanche and obsessedwjpn say yes, we're really and truly full, and I'll take no more additions unless somebody leaves. And I've grown ridiculously fond of all of you, so I don't want that happening!

Oh, I forgot to mention this earlier, but seeing as how either/both players will be joining the game after we've already become familiar with combat, I'm opening up the "Combat Clinic" thread to mediated Player-vs-Player. I'll monitor your rolls, answer questions as they arise, and generally help out, but it's a chance for folks to become more familiar with the combat system. Anyone may challenge anyone else to "sparring practice" to test their combat abilities. Spells are allowed. Please bear in mind that this would be 100% AU, and would not impact the game. Lay on!

And then I could play Etienne more how I want him, with him running background assistance instead of feeling the need to attack. *wipes brow* YAY.

Huh! I hadn't even thought of that, Chachi! Hey, it would definitely be interesting. So who's first?
Edit: Maker, this is torture. I want to test Vintiver in game, but the area takes a full hour to render, and nobody's around to talk to... ![]()
