Yeah, there aren't any windows upstairs. When I posted the screenshots, that was literally all there was to the house. Now, there are stairs and a small bedroom under the peak of the roof. It wasn't a big deal when it was just Bartha, Rael, and Tempest in the farmhouse, but when the others showed up, it got very confusing very quickly. I'll try to describe the scenes in better detail going forward.

My apologies for misinterpretating the second floor than
From the screenshots, I thought it was just one big 'room' covering the total floor upstairs (more some kind of attic), with either a ladder or stairs to get there... ![]()
Edit: must be due to the farms we have around here...

So when Beldin came in after the fight, did he go in through that front door there, which leads to the great room (I think?) or is there a backdoor? If so, where is that?
I ask because Etienne and Rael are about to come inside.

There's only one door, which enters the kitchen. That's the room that doesn't have the beds in it. ![]()

Sadly, the game he's got is Tic Tac Toe and everyone else is playing Bridge, but he tries. ![]()

This is the best sentence ever.
I love Beldin so much. He's just precious.

?... Maker's Breath!!!
I just read the joint post you and MP did. Those two don't waste any time, do they! I figured it would be at least 24 hours before anybody started kissing anybody else, but that shows you what I know!

Well, Etienne does come from Kinloch, yes? Where everyone was kissing everyone, at least before the abominations. ![]()

Saturday's Plot Post will be Eshara's Tale. She'll tell you what she remembers about the farm, explain the whole business about Nan'harellen and the revengers, and let you know where you'll be going next. After that, we're leaving the farmhouse. So if you have anything else you want to do at the farmhouse, please wrap it up before Saturday. ![]()
(Why do I feel like I just asked you if anybody has to go before we get in the car?)

So, because I'm still unclear about it (I know, I know, I'm easily confused.
), is it still evening, or is it the next morning now? It makes no difference to me (I almost typed in "it makes no nevermind" *boggle*), I just want to be on the right page, so to speak. ![]()

I think we're a mixture of the two. I've got one joint post between Tempest and Beldin that definitely takes place the first night, so we're stuck in a bit of a time warp. Just roll with it. Ultimately, it doesn't much matter if it's night or morning. Today. Tomorrow, game time, will be a whole different story. ![]()

Oh, and in case anybody is curious, I have absolutely no idea if Nan'Harellen is proper elvhen. The name that was supplied with the mod was Mythallen, which they were translating as "child of vengeance," after who they described as "Mythal, the god of vengeance," but we all know that Mythal is actually quite a different goddess, so I did a bit of research and tried to make it less broken. I hope you don't mind.
And if I did get it wrong, please let me know, because I'm going to be changing it in the mod, too, and I don't want to get the lore wrong.

According to the wiki, the god of vengeance is Elgar'nan. In case that helps...

Ok, having used this link enough to have it bookmarked *grin*, (I'm kind of elbow deep in Dalish lore, as I develop my Inquisitor, because, clearly, that's utterly necessary.
) I think it might actually be just as well to just say Nan'len.
As an aside, Elgar'nan literally means "spirit of vengeance."

Thanks for that! I was going by this page. "Nan" is "vengeance," "harel" is a feared or dreaded thing, and "len" is "child".
From what I could gather, the only actual grammatical rules were phonetic ones. If it sounds OK, it's fine, regardless of construction order (in contrast to Old English, which has no such thing as construction order, but infinite variation of tense, declension, and conjugation. But even if there is a construction order, the apostrophe here seems to work as "of" (Elgar'Nan, Spirit of Vengeance; Fen'Harel, Wolf of Dread; Asha'Bellenar, Woman of Eternity) so Vengeance of the Child of Fear still makes sense. Nan'Len would probably be better, but it sounds atrocious, and elven words are rarely that short.
Edit: Bramblefae, stay out of my skull, please. It's crowded enough as it is!

Heh. And I thought you wanted Child of Vengeance. Nan'harelen would be batter than Nan'len if the Child of Fear is having its Vengeance.
(I'm sorry, I will try to stay within the confines of my own brain! *grin*)

I'm still amused that Tempest of all people made Beldin think magic doesn't necessarily need to be feared. I mean she outright told him it was okay to fear it. ![]()
