You realize he does this every time they talk, right? XD She says something that directly conflicts with what he knows, he gets the feels, and then he's like "OKAY GREAT TALK TO YOU SOON *zoom*"
Eventually she will figure that out. For now she's like "OMG I'm such a bad persooooon!" every single time.

As an aside, "Tarl" sounds like a title to me so I'm having trouble remembering it's just his name. If I goof that up, please remind me.
I will post once tonight before I go to bed but I just wanted to let you all know that from tomorrow, August 31, I will be unavailable to post for a day or two because I will be traveling back to Japan. The plane ride is about 14 hours and after that I will be pretty tired. I will try to post on September 2 before work starts back up for me on September 3. If there is any way you guys could slow down the RP a bit or at least not move too far ahead in the story line before I can post again that would be greatly appreciated.
I would like time at the manor for Laurelin and Mercuriel to interact as well as for Mercuriel to interact with characters like Bartha and Tempest, both of whom he hasn't spoken with at all yet. Is there any way that this is possible despite the delay in my posting because of my travels? I would appreciate it. Thank you again.

Yeah, I don't see us moving past the manor before 3 September. In fact, I'm pretty sure that we'll be at the manor at least until next Saturday. I'm going to post your arrival at the manor soonish, after replying to the game thread "on the road" posts, which won't be until everyone has said they're done with that part.
With this many people in the group, it's probably best to wait for folks to check in before moving forward.

I'm glad that he and Rael are working their things out.
He doesn't feel sorry about it in the slightest. There was no life for him in Logerwold, just an infinity of tedium as a one-legged Chantry brother. Things happen for a reason.
I think Tempest is done till we get to the manor.
