Sorry, folks, I've been wrapped up in the LI reveal drama and haven't been watching the thread. I'll try to catch up tonight.
Not a whole lot of posting today. Are you ok about the LI stuff? I've been handing out hugs to the sad and disappointed. ![]()

Says the woman who didn't post today... ![]()
I will probably not post till tomorrow. I have the attention span of bologna today and 140 characters is about all I can handle.
Hormones are dumb.
I had to do some real life stuff today but I'm planning to catch up reading and then post for Tempest shortly. ![]()
Tempest assumes she's responsible for Eshara until specifically instructed otherwise, so she won't pick a room or turn up for the meal until Tarl gets back. She doesn't care where she sleeps and you can just stick her in whatever room is left over. She would like a chance to explore the manor's book collection before bed.
(And of course she needs to talk to Rael, but she doesn't know that yet.
)

I'll be honest. I was really hoping that Blackwell would be bi. I'm a straight female, but IDK, for some reason, I'm a lot more comfortable playing straight, bisexual, or gay men, so a bi Blackwell would have suited me to the nines. But it was not to be, and I'm okay with that because I've still got IB and Dorian for my gay characters and Cassandra for my straight ones, and I have been known to play females on occasion, so I can still romance Cullen and Blackwell, too... just maybe not as often as Dorian and IB. So yeah, I'm good, but thanks for being so thoughtful. A lot of people are hurting, and my heart goes out to them.

Tarl's going to try to convince her to take room 2 because it's close to his, where Eshara will be staying. He's a competent warrior and is not a bad field medic, but he recognizes that Eshara will want another woman to help her with the bandages and stuff. It's complicated, but I think I'll let you find out the details in game. ![]()
Tempest has no problem with that. She didn't really have a preference.
There are more posts to answer, but I"m totally done for the night. More tomorrow...
No worries. Hope you have good sleeps! ![]()
I was like "HECK NO, I'M NOT TOUCHING THE BSN TODAY" and forgot that I game here, too. XD
Lol, and I've been avoiding the rest of the BSN since gamescom to avoid spoilers like this
But it's ok. Guess that inquisitor Bartha (when I'll roll her) will get a hard time choosing...
Oh, carp. I'm sorry!
I love how so much of the party is making a beeline for the books!
Tempest is pleased she's not the only nerd. ![]()
Don't worry! It's not like you've been spoiling the plot. I just try to spoil too much for myself.
And I guess Bartha is one of the few non-nerds XD Or maybe she has other things higher on her list of priorities...
I don't think the warden's manor is as big as Laurelin makes it out to be. ![]()
Well, it is quite large, if I see the floor plan
I figure Bartha's family home isn't much larger than one of the larger bedrooms.
Oh btw, if we are to spoil things anyway... I wonder if it would be possible to roll our characters and have some fun together in the multiplayer?
And something else I was wondering about the other day... Do you lot have things in roleplay that you are not comfortable with? For myself, I can take pretty much everything in roleplay (both tabletop and LARP), including things I hope to never experience IRL, as it would be horribly traumatizing. (For example: during larps, my characters have been tortured, kidnapped, enslaved, etc). The one thing I would not really like, is if someone else would start dictating what my character would do (well, except if mind-controlled....). Can one force my character to do things? Sure, no problem. Threaten her, blackmail, physical force... be my guest XD
Personally, I've noticed that my tolerance levels are much higher in RP situations. One can physically hold me, drag me around, and I wouldn't care (character can have an other opinion though). IRL, I'd freak out and start to panic (unless there is a really high level of trust with the person)... got some bad experience. I don't know what it is like for you, but hey, if you don't like something, please just give a yell
It is big but Laurelin thinks it's a castle or something, which can be understandable considering that she's never seen one before. Well the largest structure she's ever seen (before the Inn) was the keeper's aravel.
As for things that may make me uncomfortable, well I'd say that at this point I'm pretty much open to everything, since I tend to separate my POV from my character's.But I agree with you about limiting a charceter's RP capabilities by dictating what to do.There are always some game limitations, but as long as te RP aspect isn't limited I'm fine.
This is one of the reason that I enjoy immensely to RP with you guys,I love how deep each character is and how nobody misses any RP opportunity to allow them to evolve even further.
So... who do you like? Besides Cullen, that is...
Creators help me, I can't help being interested in Solas.
But, to be completely honest, every single one of these LIs seems interesting to me. At this point, all I know for sure is that my first play through will be with a female elven rogue. And I have no idea who she'll romance at this point. *laugh*
I'll be playing this game till the next one comes out, I have a feeling. ![]()
I feel the same way about Solas, although Cullen is still my no1 choice.I agree about all the LIs being really interesting although I don't think I'll be able to romance Dorian and Blackwall,as intriguing as they look because...Well, because both of them bear a striking resemblance to two of my family members so yeah...No just no!
Mahumia - I'm the SAME WAY. My poor babies go through hell for the sake of storytelling. XD
Mahumia, I'm FAR MORE tolerant of pretty much everything for the sake of roleplay.
I don't really have limits in roleplay. Well, except metagaming/godmoding/whatever, but this is an awesome group, so it's not something I worry about here. ![]()
Just a heads up that it's going to be a little sporadic for me until the weekend. Work is kicking my butt, and I've got to put up with it because I need this job. I'll see if I can catch up a little, but it isn't going to be a great night for getting stuff done, as I'm about ready to fall over as it is.
It's all good. I could stand for some slow going till the weekend myself.
