Just to let you guys know, tomorrow is a workday for me so I won't be home till evening. (Sometimes I can post from work and sometimes not, depending how busy I am.) Please don't leave Tempest completely behind in the meantime. ![]()

Assuming that Ann posts at her usual 5:30 or so, I expect that a lot of tomorrow will be spent in reactions to the trial outcome and in pursuing Bartha. Would you like to leave standing orders about what Tempest would do in broad terms (stay with the party and pursue Bartha/Sarel/Tessa, stay behind and look after Eshara, etc) or would you rather we abstain from posting until you're back?

Today (for you) should be more or less the same as Hannah: reacting to the trial outcome and setting off in pursuit of Bartha, Sarel, and Tessa, splitting up depending on where Brian says he's headed (and he may not post until evening on Sunday, which pushes it into Monday your time). I don't expect anyone to really go anywhere until Monday.

Tempest will stay to make sure Beldin is okay and to tend to Eshara. I assume her jury vote is obvious.
As long as posts don't jump tremendously ahead, it shouldn't be a problem anyway, I'll just catch up in the evening. ![]()
Just wanted to mention it because Sunday isn't a "weekend" schedule day for me as it may be for some players, so our expectations are synchronized. ![]()

And I just realized I've probably confused the issue by referring to Sunday as "tomorrow" because I haven't gone to sleep yet, but it is in fact past midnight. ![]()

It wasn't you. Several party members asked important questions and then left before I was able to post the answers. I'll do it in a little while, and maybe we can all just assume that it makes sense somehow.

They'll get her back. Since all of this has worked out in Beldin's favor, I don't think anyone will be too mad at Bartha. In her own, roundabout way, she improved his life considerably.

I imagine the first thing they're going to do is run after Bartha. Tessa knows the road to Redcliffe, as she hails from Lothering, which is more or less halfway between Redcliffe and Vintiver. Beldin knows the way, too, as he is from Logerwold, which is the next village to the west in Ruswold Valley and Redcliffe is the nearest major town.
And then they can all get emotional... and possibly bash some heads. ![]()

Beldin? After what he's been through, shouldn't he take it easy?

They don't have time. Bartha has been gone for about an hour at this point, and lit windows on a bare hilltop could serve as a beacon for any enemy within miles.

If the rest of the party is going after Bartha and Eshara seems okay for the time being, Tempest will go too. She just didn't want to leave if Beldin still seemed to be recovering from his emotional ordeal. ![]()
I'm sure they'll all forgive Bartha since nothing bad ended up happening.
(If he had been executed, Tempest would be either dead trying to save him or would have left.)

Nah,we won't let Bartha die Mahumia!
Well,Laurelin could do one of her tricks locate her as a bird or something and then come back and inform the others about her whereabouts, but I don't really know if she can shape-shift at this level. Can she?

She can change into a small animal, yes. This sounds like the perfect opportunity to either put her raven to work or get some use out of that shapeshifting ability.

Shapeshifting it is then!I wouldn't want to use her raven for something so important. ![]()
besides Harel isn't with Laurelin at the moment,he tends to appear on very (conveniently)specific occasions.
Plus, better way to introduce her abilities that to randomly change into an animal during combat.

So,Laurelin is going to suggest to look for Bartha and hopefully Tessa and Sarel, but befre I post the RP part do I have to roll anything?

Posté 07 septembre 2014 - 08:40
Yes, you will need to roll dice, Lorien. I think we talked about it when we were working out the shapeshifting. It takes 5 mana points to change in or out of animal form (you get to choose the form from among raven, ferret, mouse, or otter). The target number for the spell is 11. At this level, you don't get to apply the +2 focus, but you will be able to take it as a focus at 2nd level.
@Kat: Yup, I had a kidney infection and a fever of 105.8.
