*checks time* well... I'm getting some sleep now (23.15 over here... and an alarm clock set for 6.15)... so if you all would storm the mill in the next few hours, please give me a chance to respond ![]()

@Kat: Yup, I had a kidney infection and a fever of 105.8.
I'm something of a recovering fainter myself. I used to have really low blood pressure. For some reason, pregnancy corrected that. The last time I fainted was during my first pregnancy, on the first day of school, in front of the entire faculty. That was fun.
I think the worst part about it is waking up and not knowing what happened for a few moments. That and the sweating and nausea... ![]()
The good news is, I became so proficient at it, I knew exactly when I was about to faint and was usually able to lie down on the ground (including the last time--also fun.)

I've never fainted in my life.

I used to faint every time I had blood drawn... That was definitely corrected during pregnancy since they take your blood ALL THE TIME. During my second pregnancy, I didn't faint at all! I'm glad I seem to have normalized... fainting is very inconvenient (and embarrassing.)

Naw you shouldn't be embarrassed about it,or anything health-related!But yes,it does sound like an unpleasant experience...To put it mildly!

TBH, I don't really remember feeling anything afterward, but I was too sick to care what happened to me. No, really, I'll sleep here, it's fine. ![]()

Well, you had an actual underlying medical condition causing it--a 105 degree fever is extremely serious!
Me, it was just my body reacting to intense stress/pain and going, "Nope Nope Nope!" (A nurse later told me I have a very strong fight or flight response--in this case, flight. The blood rushes to your legs so you can run quickly and when the adrenaline runs out, down you go!)

Etienne is going to need a minute or two of Tempest's time before they strike out. He can even pause her at the door, if need be.

I'm getting ready to leave (Gonna go watch last night's Outlander and Dr. Who heh), but I'll be back later tonight.
And I think Brian and I are working on the short interlude of Tess chasing after Sarel. ![]()

Yeah, it's the adrenaline that causes the nausea... sort of. I goes into your bloodstream really quickly, and breaks down just as fast. Norepinephrine is released at the same time, but it breaks down more slowly and leaves you feeling weak and queasy. That's why I tend to give Beldin a case of the wobbles when he gets a massive adrenaline dump like he did after the wolf attack and when Bartha found the scar.

So I'll follow Mahumia's example and go to bed,it's gotten in late here(11:38) and I have an early course tomorrow at college. :/
I'm going to post the the "transformation" tomorrow, which would be best because the rest of the team will get to respond/react to the events after Beldin's acquittal.(Those who haven't read Berelinde's post yet, prepare your feelzuh!)
Goodnight everyone
Also Bramblefae,Outlander is awesome ye ken!Thank you for introducing me both to the books and the show
Even though they won't stop talking about it here in Inverness!Saw Jamie Fraser's beautiful face (and abs) on the newspaper today!

Pause her what, like a DVD? ![]()

Wow, Ruth's been punchy lately! ![]()
Also, I just wanted to take a moment to say that I love you all and I'm not at all surprised that our characters all seem to love each other, too (to varying degrees... hmmmm...?) I can't remember the last time I've been so excited about something like this. I love reading everyone's posts! You guys make my day, everyday!

I think I have officially expended my exclamation point quota for the day...

Sure, just send a PM my way or post in the thread that he's grabbing her.
(As long as he's not literally grabbing her, because she'd hit him with her staff if he did that.

I think folks are pretty much ready to go, apart from Etienne and Tessa's Tempest's exchange, so I'm going to start things moving at the windmill. Don't panic, and don't let it alter your plans. I'm just starting things now to give Mahumia some RP time while we're all shuffling out the door.
Like the first wolf attack at Fuldor's Farm, everybody gets plot armor until the whole party is assembled. After that, no one does.

Dammit, I'm still doing it! And I'll probably keep doing it. Fiance and I have been living together for going on nine years now, and I still call him Joe and my sister's husband John.
And I'd "like" your post, but it's been a very likable day here, and I've run out.

It's ok. I generally know which of us you mean, and I assume Hannah does too. ![]()
Everyone once in awhile, I just check to make sure *you* didn't actually mean that Tess is in two places or doing something I didn't see. ![]()
I'm sometimes guilty of being easily confused. ![]()

Yeah, we figure it out.
Although I admit I've had a "Wait, Tess is a mage?" reaction probably about ten times. ![]()

Four adventures.
I feel like Bilbo Baggins' "Five armies?"
But three of them are merging, so maybe I won't have to kill anyone off. ![]()

Etienne: "We have made the right choice, yes?"
Nah, I think we should go back inside and let Bartha be torn apart by bandits.
I kid, I kid! Don't hurt me!
Seriously, though, that's great role-playing. I love it that Etienne blurts stuff out without really thinking it through to the very end.

LOL!
Well, to be fair, they all have the same basic goal at this point (making sure Bartha doesn't die,) so they should be able to converge pretty quickly. ![]()
As usual, I will catch up and respond when I get home from work if I don't have any spare time during my shift. ![]()
