Which side three hours? Cause I'll continue traveling to Indiana on Sunday
(to Warsaw)

Indiana side. I'm an hour or two north east of Warsaw.
Tucked into the northeastern corner.
Too bad it's Sunday, though, we've got family weirdness. (Not really weird, just planning my inlaw's 50th wedding anniversary, and my husband's sisters are super chatty so a 2 hour lunch turns into 5 hours of lunch and cards and gossip.
)
Do you come stateside often?

Oh, congratulations with the inlaws! It's my first visit to the States and to be honest, I have no idea how often I'll visit... I guess not that frequently though. Nonetheless, it's possible that I'll come more often in the coming months due to an ongoing project.
And if I'd come alone (so without my colleagues), I'd love to have a little meeting sometime ^^

Beldin is a big-a*sed target, isn't he? ![]()

I'm going to work "Mongrel-humping grandmothers" into a conversation this weekend, if it kills me. ![]()

Laurelin is up next, then Tempest. After that is Marl and a completely unnecessary archer, then Tessa. ![]()
If Tessa was running, she won't be able to attack anybody this round, but she can juggle into position.
After that, please wait for me to post a status report before beginning Round 2.

Tess was running, and slipped too. Hannah is out of town today and tomorrow, right?
Also, don't forget Quarterstaff Tom. He goes after Tessa. *gives you a bland expression*

Hmm, she is out of town, isn't she. I'll see if she left standing orders.
Edit: She said that she can post tomorrow, so that's cool. We can certainly wait for her. ![]()

Hey, folks, there are always going to be times when we need to take a short break, and this is one of those times. It won't be too long, but I'm going to put combat on hold for a few days. If you haven't posted yet, you may finish your round, but I won't begin the next one until we're all on board with it.
This would be an excellent opportunity to PM Mahumia to see if she has time for some post-combat RP. You'll have time to work through your dialogues and post them when the encounter is over.
Again, we aren't quitting, we're just pausing for a short breather.

Had a good flight, just an 1,5 hour delay because they decided to remove a Nigerian family from the plane, as the kid wasn't feeling well. Bit mixed feelings about that... on one hand I understand precautions in case it is indeed ebola, on the other hand it feels like discrimination...
One thing that caught my eye... the size of the cars. I haven't seen a single small one o.0 My toyota aygo (average size small car in Europe) would be considered a bike or so?

It kinda depends on where in the country you live. "Smart cars" and Cooper Minis are popular in New Jersey, which is ironic because we have the second cheapest fuel prices in the US. That said, I drive a Tacoma (2-seat cab, not extended) because as the owner of a 100+ year old house, I'm always having to run to the hardware store or lumber yard for home repair stuff. And I like trucks.
When we start up again - whenever that may be - please check the combat spreadsheet before you declare a target. I've listed all that are within range of your attack. If you're using a ranged attack, you may not have a direct line of sight to all of those listed, but if you don't, you can WALK up to half your Speed in yards to gain a line of sight. Targets not listed are either blocked by an intervening target in a way that can't be walked around or are simply out of range.
I'm saying this just for completeness. We're going to wait a bit before we proceed.

Here's a question-Does Bartha have weapons on her at the moment?
#1343
Posté 14 septembre 2014 - 08:27
No. Her weapons were taken while she was unconscious, but she is still armored.

Thank you. When combat starts back up, I may have a PM for you, depending on how the next round goes. ![]()

Pfff, who needs weapons?
#1346
Posté 19 septembre 2014 - 03:27
Bartha, you're up! Then it's Dog, Longsword 2, Rael (who is reloading), Archer 2 (the mage), Mercuriel, and a few more archers.

So thinking ahead a bit in terms of character goals... I was wondering if someone might be willing to talk to Tempest a little to help her get her head on straight about the possibility of her ever having a romantic future. She just needs a little Thedas-style counseling, if anyone has time and inclination at some point. Not in the middle of combat of course. ![]()

Oh, Maker, I just imagined Bel's version of that. It involved a lot of very probing questions toward potential suitors such as:
"If you hurt her, I will kill you and everyone you love."
Poor Tempest!

LOL! ![]()
There would not be any potential suitors involved! Oh no, she is still very very far away from that point!
At this point she thinks she is completely unlovable in that manner, so she'd never even consider it. I'm just hoping for baby steps here, like it maybe not seeming like a complete impossibility?

Tempest is well loved. I have a feeling that expressing an interest will set your inbox on fire. (Make it so.)
Seriously, though, you never know what the future holds. And I amuse myself with the might-have-been banters.
Tempest: It's cold tonight. The stars are all behind the clouds.
Beldin: They're still there... but that isn't it.
Tempest: No, not really. It's a long way from home.
Beldin: The stars aren't any further because you're here instead of there.
Tempest: You picked a cloudy night for stargazing.
Beldin: When the wind changes, you'll see them.
