No, we'll wait. It's really, really much better to go forward as a group.

 

In the future, though, let's try to do the joint posts *in advance* if at all possible. That's what the plot previews thread is for, to give you enough advance warning and situational background to get these big "Define The Relationship" talks done ahead of time so we don't have to delay the game while people half a world apart work through a conversation. Sure, sometimes things will happen and plans will change, but there's up to 16 hours time difference between some players. If Rael and Mercuriel want to have a random chat with 3 back-and-forths apiece in the game thread, that's six days. That's a long time to hold up the game for something that could have happened over the weeks leading up to that talk.

 

Please don't think I'm condemning your enthusiasm or calling anybody to task. I do understand how important character interactions are, and that's why I'm willing to wait a few days to get your talk done before moving on. But you know this won't be the last time Merc and Laurelin have a chat. Maybe it would be a good idea to start your next one over PM the instant you finish your last, and make minor edits when you get to a good point in the game to post it.

Bartha's going to need that popcorn and hot chocolate party. It's going to be a busy morning, and a lot of people are going to wind up with jangled nerves.

 

No worries, Ann. It's going to be a while before Bel's in any shape to notice anything's wrong, and by that time, the spat might well be over. He's had a bit of a rough night, and he's still facedown in his bunk with his legs hanging out over the carpet.

 

Also, I've got a pretty good idea how to set up Merc's big scene. I'll start a Google Drive Doc that you, Lorien, and I can edit and do the scene that way. It's a lot easier than PMs. I'll send you the link once the initial scene setup and blocking is done, but give me a day to do it. I've got a busy lab day today, and I'm still not ready for Friday yet.

Just wait until the party reaches Logerwold, Rhys, just wait. It's a lot colder there at the top of the valley, with the wind howling in off the Korcari Wilds. Snow will be thick on the ground, and the Ruswold will be half-frozen and choked with ice. And there Rhys and Bel will be, calmly chatting while taking a bath in the icy river as random ice floes bob past.

Ok, for morning posts (And I didn't mean to be a roleplay hog. Tess just had a busy morning! *grin*) it doesn't really matter who goes first, Bartha or Tempest.

That's all Tempest needs to do in terms of conversation before we leave, but at some point when the group is all together (it can even happen in transit) Tempest needs to pass on Eshara's warning about the wounds being corrupted.

Bartha needs to finish up some conversation with Tarl, otherwise she'll go on her way unarmed As she already had her conversation with Tessa, I'll skip posting a seperate 'waking up' post... or maybe I'll do anyway. I'll see. 

 

And Tessa and Beldin are cute ^^ Although I still see a Beldin-Tempest shipping as a possibility too... we'll see

Sorry, Miriam! I've been *that* crazy over the last few days, trying to get all of the last minute details hammered out (I forgot to order a cake until yesterday!) and trying to get far enough ahead at work to not bring it with me on the honeymooon. Still haven't managed to get my hair colored yet, but I'll wrap up that post first.
