Merc and Tess are also talking, but that's for a bit later, not this day. ![]()

I'll get after John to finish up with Bartha.
Does this mean we get to see some hanky panky? ![]()

By the way, I'm not necessarily assuming anyone will pay attention IC to the Chanter's Board posting in Links to the Past. The point was mainly to establish that most people who knew or knew of Boniface thought he was a stand-up guy.
I have no particular expectations beyond dropping a little backstory. ![]()

Do you take me for a man with no honor? The devil, I say!

The delay in Fabian's joint post with Bartha was my fault, but we're moving along again and will probably be wrapping it up soon.

Now now! There is nothing dishonorable about some mutually agreeable hanky panky. ![]()

I agree with Hannah!
(Or should I say Tempest?)
And Hannah, I LOVE reading your stories. Obviously it contains data we don't know IC. I mean, Bartha might read the notice, but wouldn't care about it, as she doesn't know who that what's-his-face is. Me, on the other hand, was cheering when I read it
Well, that he is dead, I mean... can we find someone who can resurrect people? Than we can kill him again! ![]()

This one you can blame on Hannah. Tempest would think it, but she probably wouldn't say it, at least not in those terms. ![]()
Glad you liked the notice! I just felt like doing something a little different than the standard story vignette. It was fun to play around with how his sister would present their side of the story to the public rather than just in her own head.
And yep, Boniface is dead for real and forever. While in some ways having him alive would be more dramatic, having him still hanging like a cloud over Tempest's head would really inhibit what she had the freedom to do.

Everyone who has informed me that they have role-playing posts in progress has posted them. If you didn't inform me that you've got a joint post in progress, well, it happens. No time jumps. It can happen tomorrow, or if you're posting in the game thread, it got interrupted and you can pick it up another time. There is a full schedule of activities planned for the camp tonight...

Just a shout out. Sorry about using Bel as a pawn for the combat drill. We really needed some practice, and I thought this might be a fun way to explore combat without getting bogged down with a lot of die rolls. It can be over pretty soon if we do our part.
Keep an eye on the posted combat spreadsheet for your attack order.
I'll post a map shortly, with landmarks and features marked, and each person can say where they are and what they're doing.

Regarding the spreadsheet - not that it probably matters, but Tempest is down three mana points because she fruitlessly attempted to heal Eshara in the morning. ![]()

Guys, if you have not yet acknowledged your team leader's instructions, please do so.
Yes, I know how much everyone hates combat, but the sooner we get this show on the road, the sooner it will be over.

Because Beldin spoke about the use of weapons, so she asked for clarification.
Edit: and she's probably asking waaaaaay too many questions to Merc too XD

I figured out how to do player-editable combat maps, so that should make combat a lot less clunky and hard-to-visualize. It may take you a moment or two to figure out how to make and move your markers, but if you run into trouble, or if you are posting from a mobile device and are unable to do it yourself for some reason, just shoot me a PM and I'll do it for you.

I tried to mark Tempest on the map but was not entirely successful.
The text didn't land quite where I expected - I was trying to get her about a block higher behind the tree - and the document gives me an error when I try to move the box. Also I couldn't figure out how to make her green. Sorry for my technology fail! ![]()

It's a little different from Powerpoint, which is what most of us are used to using for this kind of thing. There were about 15 text boxes on top of yours, which is why you weren't able to move it. You should be able to move it now, but if you can't, it's no big deal for me to move it for you. ![]()
