Bartha says 'Thank you!' too. Saves her having a panic attack I was under the impression that Beldin was standing almost next to Mercuriel, by the way? I mean: Merc was attacking Longsword 1, so was Bartha, and Beldin rushed in to keep greataxe who charged Merc in place, right?

Uh, yeah, Bel's going to want to talk to her about that, but I was waiting for everybody to post to do it, and then John wanted to publicly humiliate Beldin (again), so it didn't seem the time. It's really hard to take "Look, Tempest, we've all got a job to do. Ours is to put ourselves between you and harm." while he's standing there with his junk hanging out.
