You explored the camp as much as you were able to in the dark, then camped there, at the ruined Dalish camp. You could get no further that day in any case, and you would probably need more light to follow the trail anyway.

I used Roll20 for my initiative roll. I got 17.
Just so you know, when using Roll20, your first die is the dragon die, so Tempest's DD is 6 and Rhys's is 2. That means that no matter *what* anyone else rolls this round, Tempest will not go last.
FWIW, I rolled a 12(6) for Beldin and an 11(3) for Fabian. (Somehow, I don't see John registering for an account on Roll20, so I'll probably have to make his rolls for him until IC goes live again. Which may or may not happen. I may need to be persuasive.)
Turned out Tempest had rather a lot to say before bed. I'm assuming that her waking up at the end will coincide with wherever she falls in the initiative order.
So, can everyone hear her wards go off, or just Tempest?
Just to be clear on this, if you don't put on armor (or cast Rock Armor), your Armor Rating is 0. Your defense is affected only by your dexterity and whether or not you're carrying a shield, so your defense is unchanged.

Tempest is going to enter stealth before combat starts. I can't use the dice site from work, so I'll post for that when I get home in an hour or so.
Plan on combat updates (details, maps, spreadsheets) on Saturday. I've got 12-hour days (+3 hours commuting) all week, so I'm pretty much just getting home and passing out. I'm working Saturday and Sunday, too, but those days should be just ordinary 8-hour days, so I should be able to keep up with the combat.
If you haven't rolled initiative by tomorrow morning, I'm going to take it from your list of rolls. I think I'm still missing Laurelin, Mercuriel, and Etienne. I might still be missing Bartha too. I need to check. Thanks, Miriam, I see your initiative roll for Bartha.
Rhys was sleeping in his armor. He doesn't have a tent so he was just rolled up in his blanket, and he has light leather armor so I figured he'd be able to sleep in it. (I always pictured it as kind of a supple leather.)
He's Avvar so the temps don't really bother him and he's a bit leery of those crazy knife fingered things and having his pants caught around his ankles again.
I got a 12 for Mercuriel. I forgot if he had +1 or not for Dexterity. If so, I will roll again. Or you can just add it to the 12 and it will be 13.
If that's the case, his armor rating is not as high as I thought. Armor supple enough to sleep in is not going to afford much more protection than a leather jacket. If you want to go that route, fine, but his armor rating will be 2 max.

I wound up having to work this weekend, more than expected, so it didn't happen anyway. I may be able to get the combat spreadsheet up today, and if I do, I can roll for Laurelin, but I might not be able to pull it togeter until tomorrow in any case.
This is the deal. I'm a contractor. JnJ, where I work, is doing its level best to eliminate all contractors, but I had a few projects up in the air, testing to support claims. Anyway, long story short, I have to produce an ungodly amount of work between now and the end of the month, at which point, the management will sit down and decide whether to move on to phase 2 of the study or whether to lay me off. The workload is... intense. About 25% more than anything I have *ever* been able to do at any point in my career. I'm struggling to do it, but I'm falling behind already. I can probably get it done, but I'm working 12 hour days and weekends.
At this point, I'm not sure if I want them to keep me for another month or lay me off. I'm only allowed to bill for 40 hours per week regardless of how many I work, so it's averaging out to barely 60% of my usual pay. Phase 2 is about 10% more work than Phase 1, so if it's killing me now, next month will be worse, and it has less days in it. I'm already exhausted. Last week, I literally fell asleep standing in the shower. I woke up with my face pressed against the wall and no idea how I got in the shower in the first place.
So yeah, if it seems as if I've dropped off the planet, it's because I pretty much have. I apologize that I'm not keeping up with my responsibilities here. I miss it. I think about the game when I'm working, and stress out that I'm not making my posts.
Well, here's my thoughts on that, Ruth. Think about game when you're working if it makes it easier. But don't stress out about us. We'll be here. *hug*
If you need to extend the hiatus till you know more about what the sh*t is going on with work, or till it eases up, I, for one, don't have any problem with that.
Of course I miss playing, like you, but your peace of mind is far far more important, my friend.

I agree with Tracie. If this game is a break from stress for you, that's great! But it shouldn't become another source of stress. Real life comes first. Take the time you need, whether that means a break or just posting when you get a chance. This is supposed to be recreational, after all. We'll be here!
I second the things mentioned above. If this creates only more stress, than please take your time. I cannot imagine the stress you're going through at work, but it seems awful to me
