Also, this is the most fun I've had RPing in...well...ever! I seriously check to see if anyone has updated all day long when I can! Thanks for putting this all together Berelinde!

I hope you continue to do so when we move into a more technical phase. 

 

It happens. Personally, I like the downtime stretches best, when we're all free to engage in RP and side pursuits (Tempest and Etienne may have an opportunity to geek out over plants sooner than they anticipate), but combat is part of the picture. It's tedious, but necessary. Plus, it gives us a chance to RP patching each other up afterward, so it needn't be a total chore.

I'm hanging on for a few minutes while I wrap stuff up, so you've got me now and in the morning! Here in about two minutes, Etienne's post will be edited to say what door he's going to.

(And Berelinde, you're in a tough spot, and I, for one, don't have a problem with your ranting/venting here when you need to. Sometimes venting to people unrelated to a situation can help with ideas on handling things. I hope that things get better for you. )

It sounds as if Chachi and Solaas are working on some last minute RP, and with the holiday this weekend, none of us seem to be in a desperate hurry to progress to the next phase, so I'll hold off on putting up the plot post until they tell me they're done.

 

Ordinarily, I wouldn't delay, but you'll see why I am when the next plot post goes up. Please try to wrap things up as quickly as you can without stressing out over it.

So once everyone has done their initial post, are we going to start posting in the order of our initiative, then? That way people know what they need to respond to... for example, should someone get hurt during their turn and the next player up might need to heal them?

I think it would be easier if we could post in at least approximate initiative order if possible.

Originally, I had hoped that we would be able to post in any order to allow players greater flexibility, but the very first round of combat demonstrates why that's a bad idea. I had to toss Beldin's beautiful rolls because he got knocked on his butt before he could attack.

 

So yes, we should try to post in the attack order. Once Mahumia posts her initiative, I'll post the attack order.
