Invisible Castle Dice Roller

hamete virtual dice server

Dragon Age Wiki

Why use a dice roller? We'll be rolling a lot of dice. Invisible Castle stores everything according to player and campaign, enabling fantastic tracking, verification, profile history, campaign history, etc, so I hope that those who registered get their registration emails soon (please check your spam folders!). I would really like to use that, as I love the transparency of it, but if you can't get activation emails, we'll need to explore other alternatives. hamete virtual dice server is a very poor substitute (no campaign function), but theoretically, it will log results.

Feel free to post any links you feel would be helpful.

Reference Sheets

A great reference for frequently-accessed info. Use of the Exploration and Role-Playing stunts are strictly optional. You may use them as plot bunnies, or to lend oomph to the effect of any ability tests, but I would rather let the player decide if the character is flirting, probing for additional info, or otherwise engaging in out-of-combat activities.

We will use the rules for Combat Stunts (including the new options such as Lethal Blow), the Spell Stunts, and the Magical Mishap rules.

The Melee/Ranged counterpart to Magical Mishaps, Fabulous Fumbles, is coming soon and will be implemented beginning next encounter.

Fabulous Fumbles

The melee/ranged equivalent to Magical Mishaps, because spellcasters should not be the only ones subject to wildly spectacular fails.

I've been keeping a record of party experience and treasure, even if I haven't been too good about keeping you informed about it. Should you wish to monitor your progress, you can do so here.

You don't have *much* treasure, mind you... and I forgot to write down the 30sp Kesla gave you, so let me go do that.

Regarding the experience tally... I assume that Bartha does not get the exp for the Tarl and Beldin's trial encounter :)

On the contrary, she does. She was intensely involved in setting it up, and she's got RP experience in the lighthouse the others won't have, so it all evens out. :)

And if nothing else, it'll give us the gist for roleplay purposes. So we can write about playing as if we have some idea what the eff we're talking about. :D

Strip poker?

"Strip what?" Bel asks before his brain has time to process the second word. "Uh... What do fireplace tools have to do with cards, and if they're painted, wouldn't the paint just burn off in the fire anyway?"

"No, no, Ser Ox," Fabian says (John's playing along). "Poker is a card game like Wicked Grace. You play for articles of clothing."

"I suppose it's cheaper than playing for coin," Beldin said, "but I don't know why anybody'd want any of my shirts."

"... Are you really that... " Fabian began to ask. "Aha. I see the dilemma. Take it at face value, Ser Ox. What was the first thing you thought of when she said that?"

"..." Beldin's ears turned red. "I'll... be in my bunk. Which isn't anywhere near a card table."
