Which kit with the Markman ability is your personal favorite? Turian Soldier, because of his Proxy mine debuff? Or do you like the Quarian Marksman better, because of Tactical Scan? And why do you favor one over the other?

What are some of your go-to weapons for both kits?

Quarian, in general because dodge. I love my dodge.

 

That said, I prefer turian for certain weapons like raider, argus, tempest, etc because of the stability bonus.

 

Go to weapons:

Quarian: Saber, valkyrie, adas, suppressor, locust

Turian: Argus, Tempest, eagle, saber, valkyrie, suppressor, revenant, BPP, indra, Raider

 

These two are the only two weapon kits I like.

The turian, for his stability bonus, a higher bonus to weapon damage, a staggering / detonating power with Concussive Shot and a better tankyness.

 

About weapons, the quarian has usually the Saber, the turian the Typhoon, but I change sometimes.

It depends on the gun. My Quarian is named "Low Recoil Guns" and obviously the Tsol is for high recoil guns.

I think the Quarian does more damage for me overall.. bc Tac Scans cooldown isn't prohibitive like proxy mine is on the Tsol. I don't even spec proxy mine on the Tsol anymore bc it's useless.. by the time you cast Proxy mine then engage Marksman, your DPS practically right where you wouldve been anyway if you just turned on Marksman from the beginning. Concussive shot makes up for his lack of dodge by giving him a fabulous, low cooldown stagger power.

TSOL has cool factor as the pig eludes to...it's just not the same with the Quarian...

Tsol is my favorite, although that doesn't have much to do with in-game preferences, otherwise I'd choose the Quarian.

 

The Quarian only ever goes around with the Saber.

 

Th Tsol gets to use any weapon, but usually shows the baddies what brute force means using a Raider.

Turian Soldier. Proxy Mine & Concussive Shot for Phantoms. 

 

I love the Quarksman also but not having any projectile/stagger powers to deter phantoms & dragoons really lowers my opinion of him unless I'm using a Scorpion. Even then, the Turian Soldier's got a staggering debuff and ammo detonator which allows more damage and crowd control than the Quarian Marksman.

I agree with all of this, especially the Proxy Mine part.  It doesn't synergize with Marksman well at all, especially if you're using a heavier weapon.

 

I don't actually love either of these classes that much, but I usually use the Quarian with the Saber and the Turian with the Hurricane or Piranha.

I prefer the Turian Soldier, because I like Turians and he has better weapon passives and powers.

 

I've tried a lot of different weapons on TSol. Hurricane and Typhoon are my favorites so far. Widow is also nice because Marksman reloads your clip.

 

I am not a huge fan of the Quarksman. If I play him I usually use the Hurricane.

I'm telling you... Volus Annihilator Soldier with Devastator Mode, Blade Armour, and Shield Boost. Not ridiculous at all.

His powers individually are basic, but that combination makes him pretty OP.
