As young as possible, to make all the romance options coming onto my character feel really awkward.

Probably around my own age (27) with it varying maybe to fit my story.

My Human Darth Vader inspired Inquisitor will be a fresh 27. 
My Dalish Elf who tries to make the world a better plus, but doesn't necessarily succeed inquisitor will be 22, nearing 23 (like me). 

My Inquisitor (haven't decided a race) who dooms Thedas not out of malice, but because his old age that causes him to forget things will be 14  74.

I'd really like if I could make him to be 22-25,that age range

that way he'll be old enough to have experienced quite a bit of life,have formed opinions without being set in his ways,was alive during some important events but is also still young enough that a little occassional naivety is to be expected

Well, either way, my Inquisitors will be in their early to mid twenties (I don't like old protagonist, because I tend to go after the young and pretty LIs and doing that as some old creep is not funny...and it would not work in the long run (most such relationships are doomed from the start!))

I always play very young characters, so 18-20. That way i can always justify my character doing something really stupid

In practice it will be down to whether the CC has a 'wrinkly slider' (probably under the 'general' setting)

I certainly won't be playing my age (though my daughters might)...

25-35 depending on the character. 32 for my main playthrough.

a 40 year old inquisitor would still start at level 1 so they wouldn't really be experienced at all in fact they'd have to be incredibly lazy to explain that one.

My canon Inquisitor (fem elf or dwarf rogue) will be around 23, just like me. Boring choice.

The male Lavellan mage will be 16. This playthrough will be the most fun. I like the idea of a teen suddenly becoming head of the Inquisition, when he can't handle responsibilities at all.

And then there will be the 29 y/o Kossith male.

I usually like most of my protagonists to be in their early to mid twenties, with maybe a couple being in their late teens or early thirties. What it really depends on is the character's personality and who I want them to end up with. For instance, the human mage I plan to romance Dorian with will be about my age (20) and rather mature for his age, and my dwarf rogue who is pursuing Iron Bull will be around 25 or so and acts like it. However, I also plan to also have an immature elven rogue who is maybe 18 or maybe younger for Sera and a refined qunari mage who's 32-33 for Josephine. I have trouble roleplaying as someone over 35 for some reason, though.

Always imagined my warden (human noble warrior) at the age of 23 and they give you hawkes age at the start of DA2.

If I had to say what age I saw the inquisitor being it would be between 25 and 35. For my first playthrough however human male warrior aged 28. Having survived the explosion and being a previously experienced commander and diplomat he has taken charge of the inquisition to find the source of the fade breach and put an end to the chaos that has been unleashed on the world. As for everything else.... It shall be determined when I play the inquisitor.

It really depends on the race I'm playing

Human = my age 28-ish
Elf= 22-ish
Dwarf = 38-ish
Qunari = 30-ish

But of course these are my preliminary results that may change after a play through or ten lol

My second is going to be a really angry, really young elf.

Human will be 31. Enough time spent in the Circle to know what he wants to fight for

 

Elf will be 47. Dalish live longer

 

Dwarf will be 22. She's a young buck.
