SOOOO excited that we're helping Bioware retake their cupcakes!!!  I Pm'd you already Lady N- but just in case, I'll let you know here too- I sent off my $20 donation to you this morning.  I'm heading away now to sublimate my rage over the last 20 seconds of the US/Portugal match by writing a lovely thank you note to the Bioware devs.  Also- may I just go ahead and submit my vote for the heartbreaker cupcake flavor to feed David Gaider's vampiric need for the bitter taste of fan tears?

 

Also, let us know how far along we are money wise- if we're still a bit short by the 1st, I might be able to squeeze out a few more dollars for the cause.

Well right now I've got about half the contributions, putting us at $170.  We've still got lots of time to go yet, though.

Still in PayPal processing limbo. However, they DO warn it takes 3-5 business days to complete fund uploading, and I am only currently on Day 3 of that.

 

SO, PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN'T STARTED THE FUND UPLOAD PROCESS, DO SO TODAY. That would put you right on the cusp of hitting that 3-5 business day window in order to meet our deadline of payment next Wednesday, July 2nd!

 

Also, I am finding that the more I email back and forth with the Canadian bakery, the more their proper English style of typing is affecting me. I actually typed "flavours" and did a double-take when my American-English spell check caught it and told me it was wrong.

 

I've never typed "flavors" as "flavours" before. That really made me LOL hard. In real life.

About the bolded I'd like to say sorry everyone I don't think I can do that I called the bank today and I still haven't gotten my information that I need to confirm with paypal and probably won't get it until tomorrow, if that's too late, then I'm sorry to say I won't be able to pitch in with the cupcakes. If you're getting it tomorrow, that might actually work.

 

Because PayPal finally coughed up my funds today, which put it at the 3-Day window (instead of 4 or 5). If it hits the 3-Day window for you, you could possibly stretch to Friday before being in "way too late" zone. It's just that today is the deadline in case it takes all 5 business days to upload.

 

Alternatively, I do not mind fronting funds for someone and then they just pay me back. You can message me if you want... I don't mind doing it and if the 3-Day window works again, anything I upload today on someone's behalf should be available for me to send to Lady Nuggins by Monday/Tuesday next week. And you can just pay me back later, when the money comes in.

Honestly, I'm paying with my credit card, so if a payment comes to me a few days late, that's not going to be a big deal for me. 

 

And if Paypal absolutely won't cooperate for you, we can work something else out.  

 

Also, I missed it in the email chain the first time, but I was rereading the email that Flirt sent back to DragonRacer, and... she says they are also fans of Bioware and the games that they make!  We definitely made the right choice!

    Information I could sent privately but wanted to also show that don't have to go to a bank to get account info, can use cc through PayPal to someone. The charge does appear for doing it this route but its one day delay, expected arrival tomorrow. If don't mind the charge that is, mine was 1.75 for 50, I think it was 1.55 for 40 using this route.

PayPal account just go to Send Money tab then I'm sending to friends or family option instead of paying for services or goods. The charge would end up going to Lady Nuggins if selected that option, which I don't consider a good thing to do.       Her email, if needed, can ask her, it will once hit send go to another page, where if didn't put a cc in yet, should allow you to do so. I had it in from previous buys, as I do direct from cc instead of uploading money to PayPal. The rest should be pretty easy to follow.

 

Customer Service, or I can help if this isn't working to well.  I am guessing though CS would do a better job of it.

And I DID have to sign up to send money.  I know that at least in the recent past you might not have had to, but that may also have been just for a business with a relationship with PayPal.  I know because I bought something that way without making a PayPal account... but again that may only be if doing business with a business.

I had the same issue when I did take your place competition. I ended up taking my real name off and using my handle instead. I've never had any trouble, but you know, just in case.
