Is there any way to find the lyrics for "I Am the One?" I know that an Elven language was created* so it would make sense if the song was composed in Elven/Elvish. I've searched and found nothing, however. Any have any different luck?
* And also several other languages (or parts of them, at least). For anyone interested, this is a fascinating read on the developement of languages in DA:O. Some of the Elven words you'll find in there are apparently outdated, but it is interesting nonetheless. Look for the posts by Beesechurger. forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html

Apparently, the lyrics can be found on a codex in the Dalish Camp, inside the chest near Zathrian (his apprentice will keep you from opening the chest, so you probably have to go back after completing the main quest).

The song says "heruamin" a lot. That phrase means "my lord", in a familiar fashion, in a tolkien elvish adaptation.
Search "heruamin" in this page: http://www.grey-comp...age/phrase.htm.
Given the context of the song, the translation is plausible.

Goodness, I didn't expect to see this thread up here.
@mizhalx, didn't the Dragon Age team develop their own languages? Thank you for the response, though.

I don´t know really. I suppose in-game elvish quotes and "in uthenera" are written in a new elvish created for the game (or so, some people said is lojban...).
But the lyrics of this song are written by Inon Zur himself. (As said in http://dragonage.wik...m/wiki/Inon_Zur)
I though he could have used some tolkien elvish, that is very well specified and codified. Surely altered due to intelectual propery issues.
Also, the word "amin", thats means "me", sounds a lot in the song.

I have asked Aubrey Ashburn via her Facebook, for the lyrics and translation of "I am the One" sung during the opening of DA-Origins, as well as during load screens and such, but she said that BioWare owns the rights and to contact them for the lyrics and translation. I tried support, but they only deal with game play issues, and told me to post in the forum for BioWare to read...so here goes a shot at it.
I would greatly appreciate this, either as a codex in game like "Leliana's Song" is, or in a reply, here.
Thank you

To my ears, they could have taken Tolkien Elvish and mixed it all up to make a new version. I mean, it does sound quite Tolkien-ish. I've just been listening to the song ("dark fantasy" version is my favorite, honestly) and I really wish I could find the lyrics...

"I Am The One" is not "Leliana's song" (otherwise known as "In Uthenera" which is also unofficially the name of the "Dragon Age Origins" theme, which is not otherwise related to either "I Am The One" or "Dragon Age Origins")
hopefully that clears up the relationships between all of them, unfortunately we still don't have the lyrics.

Please bioware or somewone, were huge fans,we love leliana
But i think i know what it means,Listen:
If you do the ultimate sacrifice Leliana will made a very known ballad(i think heruamin),i think that she song my lord return me the grey warden beacouse then it says that the maker has gave her another vision that the warden will be back(awakening). So she sang and prayed to maker with heruamin that her love will return(TheGreyWarden). So emotional, its all bioware's fault i am so connected to leliana, but i clondt let alistar sacrifice himself nor accapt that morrigan will born a baby demon,i wanted to became a hero. But leliana lost me...But il be back in awakaning....

I believe in the above lyrics that "ame" is actually "emma" (pronounced am-mah) in Elvish which means "I am". One can guess that "amin" (or whatever the word actually is) in this instance is the equivalent of "the one" in order to meet the title of the song. Only guessing here since I've only recently started to attempt to determine the common translation of the song so please don't lambast me!

I had thought they used psuedo-Latin like Blizzard does for the WoW voiced bits. But the ballad that was presented here fits (and puts me in mind of the one that Galadriel sings at the parting of the Fellowship.. hmmm)
