Cullen is another of Maric's love children.
I swear if this is true I will go out of my way to kill him.

Lyrium is the life blood of the planet and that constant mining of it is slowly killing the world.
That sounds vaguely reminiscent of FFVII...
I can't remember where I read this or heard this but someone had a really neat theory about Anders and Justice that I liked.
Basically it was that Anders had died in Awakening and in DA2 Justice was actually just possessing Anders corpse.
It works to explain his change in behavior and personality as Justice is essentially imitating what he thought Anders should be like.

It's a possibility if I recall. If you didn't take Anders to fight the Mother it says rubble fell on him or got an arrow through the neck..But if you did take Anders, I don't know what caused the changed. I guess Justice's ideals eventually sunk in.
Flemeth is Andraste
Flemeth is Fen'harel! Flemeth is the Formless One! Flemeth is an uncorrupted Archdemon! Flemeth is NOT Flemeth!
Shoudnt this be in the fan fic section???
Well the Scuttlebutt is meant for rumors. Don't Theories also fall under the category of Rumors? In the end it's all speculation.
I have a few that I enjoy. One that states that all the Entities of the Fade are blank slates when they are born/created and it's only when they come into contact with the people of Thedas via harrowing, dreams, ect that the Entities become imprinted with their various personalities. It could be expanded upon to explain what Cole is: a new born entity that has yet to take on a personality. It would also make sense when you consider Justice's change.
Another is that there is more than one Black City. Basically the reason you can always see the Black City is because there are multiples. Also these cities act as prisons for either the ancient Elven gods or whatever it is that is produces the taint.
The last theory I like is the one where the Grey Wardens have explored beyond the borders of Thedas. One of the reasons the Wardens have been so secretive is because they've ventured beyond the Donarks and discovered something important.
Dragon Age is set in the Mass Effect Universe.
Humans are actually colonists or surveyors that have lost contact due to interstellar war. In other words, humans are aliens
I love to think of Allistair as Fiona's son, and hope for a quest involving Maric, her and Allistair reuniting (following on from comics too).
