So, I finally unlocked this girl and am looking forward to trying her out. I could use some advice though.

My first instinct was to skip Fitness altogether. From what I've seen on Google so far, the general consensus seems to be that this is a good idea. But what about everything else? Arc grenades into shields/barrier damage, Homing grenades into armor damage?

I have a confusion. Some say cooldown time doesn't matter and equip her with heavier weapons. Others still say that cooldown does matter and you should watch about it. Soooo... some help please? Which is preferred strategy?

I'm mostly playing Silver, but am looking to moving up to Gold. Any differences in build for the difficulty?

So, in short... any advice welcome. And thanks in advance.

Fitness is generally more valuable on the lower 2 difficulties. If you're playing Gold, I would just skip fitness on her.

I run this build. If you want extra grenades, don't spec into the elemental ranks of both grenades' Rank 5b, and go for Rank 5a only. No Fitness on her is how you can be the most effective with her. If you don't like Homing Grenades or Arc Grenades, you can choose not to use them at all and go for Fitness.

Cooldowns don't matter since the only thing she has to worry about is her Supply Pylon cooldown. If you like to reset your Pylon regularly, then it's best if you go with a Cooldown of 50% or higher.

Do you plan on camping the pylon, or will you be leaving the pylon in a crossroads as an extra ammo crate then running around the map nuking all the things?

66660 for camping, 46664 for running around the map would be my recommendation.

Here, a 66660 build as a demonstration.

This build has a 9 grenade capacity, not 8 like kalence says, which is perfect since that's the maximum number of grenades you can get from a single thermal clip pack.

I always take radius on arc grenades, the split evo on homing (to detonate multiple combos), and both extra grenade options in the passives (all power damage works too if you don't have a good stock of high-level power amp consumables). I only max out fitness if I'm playing her as a melee character, otherwise I don't touch it.

One thing in particular I do with weapons is try to aim for a 17 second cooldown on the pylon and that way I can replenish 4 grenades every time I go back to it and redeploy.

Well, OP -- I suppose you are PS3 (given your sig quote from Bioshock Infinite!)  A lot depends on your manifest -- if you have grenade capacity gear with 2 or more extra grenades or not?   I find arc grenades more useful than homing but you could spec into extra grenades for both if you don't have the GC gear.  I spec pylon for 2 grenades at the end.

I never skip fitness on anyone and think the no fitness builds must be for hipster elites only.  I'd do 4 ranks in homing and 4 in fitness (or 5 in homing and 3 in fitness).  I also use a Harrier for her as you are going to ammo boxes a lot for grenades anyway.   So, without knowing your manifest, hard to say.  I rarely find a reason to move the pylon, once placed in a good spot -- usually some area where fights are likely (for the tiny bit of extra weapon damage plus ammo).  Have fun!

I used a 6/6/6/0/6 build in the past. I haven't played the Demolisher for ages and I would probably skip fitness now too.

I would say that cooldown does matter, because using the pylon more often will give you more grenades. Everytime you drop it, it will give you 2 (or 1 depending on your build) additional grenades instantly.

There's no need for fitness when things aren't alive to shoot at you.

Skipping Fitness isn't just for "hipster elites". I don't consider myself either of those, but I don't really use Fitness. On Gold, you can justify it possibly, but Platinum is just an absolute waste. This game's meta is about killing stuff as fast as possible, and Fitness really doesn't matter much because of how shield gate works, and the existence of right-hand advantage. I will only max Fitness if it's something already tanky, if the character has a power that really isn't worth investing in, or if you get something other than health from it. Prime example being Drell, for the movement speed bonus.

Of course, it probably helps that I host 95% of my games. If i frequently played off-host, I might put a few more points into health.

When you stop to think about it, isn't "demolisher build" a contradiction in terms?...

I like speccing out of homing grenades and running melee with her. Don't know if I'd try it above Silver, though.

Well, I play much more gold than plat.  When I do play plat I've noticed lots of use of Cyclonic Modulators, and I'm glad for it -- as much as I like medals, I'd rather not get the 5- 10- 15- revives one.

06666?

I can see that working quite nicely actually, her melee's quite a good one. ^_^

What guns do you use though?

I'm guessing the harrier isn't as good a choice without the pylon to keep it filled.

I skip homing nades, max everything else. Talon + Power Amp + Ap3/4. Throw 1-2 grenades, headshot everything while it's staggered.

Venom.

Yeah... I walked straight into that one, didn't I?

I meant as the secondary anti-armour gun.

Or do you only use one gun even on kits that don't give a **** about cooldowns?

Skipping Homing Nades and packing major anti-armor guns is a viable and easy strategy. Arc Nades the shields +stagger, clean up with a gun. This is also the melee build for me, Arc then melee mooks, Arc the shoot bosses. It's stupid easy.

I really don't want to skip anything on her.. so it's pretty much always skip homing nades, skip fitness or 4/4 Pylon/Fitness.
