I hope it's not Varric.

That depends on just how open the ending is. It would require a character who will follow the Inquisitor whatever path they take. I don't see that being Cassandra.

Keep in mind the inquisitor is the only one who can close fade rips. So while she may be willing to kill you after the final fade rip is closed, she probably won't be before that.

I wonder if there'll be a secret companion, kinda like how Loghain replaced Alistair.

I think it's Cassandra. I think it'd definitely NOT Varric, since he was the one in DA2 and it is extremely unlikely they'd have him fill that role twice. Plus, I think they've said they're going for the ability to explore less buddy-buddy sides of Varric.

Gotta stick with this guy. I would guess Cass might be the 2nd toughest to get rid of.
Yep, after the credits of Inquisition there's a final cutscene that reveals the entire Dragon Age trilogy has been Varric telling a story to a child. DA2 was a story in a story the entire time.

i hope that would be Varrick(i am tired of him but he would be the best solution) or Scribles-"dark skinned female near Blackwall" who do not really care about many things...and yeah somebody need to talk about our epilogues so i am sure that bio again make Varrick storyteller this time
because i really want to kill or at least get rid from Cassandra, Cullen, Lelianna, Cole

KILL. EVERYONE.
'Cept Cassandra and Cullen.
Seeing as Cassandra started the inquisition. She might be the perma member.

If I had to guess based on what we know, I'd say Cassandra. I believe she's there for the Inquisition's founding and it's her men who found the Inquisitor after they left the Fade at the beginning?

I think it's Solas. They have stated he is a fade expert. Aren't most mages fade experts tho? There must be something more, something in his story, beliefs or motives compelling him to join the inquisitor and accompany him/her till the end, without caring about the protagonist's morality. He gives me this strange vibe, maybe it's his haircut and clothing
But i'm far from assuming he's a traitor.
Cass seems like a loyal person but i'm sure she'd leave if PC did something truly horrible.

As soon as I saw the title I thought it would be Cass. Alongside everyone else it would seem.
She is there from the start and there's just something about her that strikes me as being more rational then the other companions we've met so far. So perhaps more open minded about your choices. Although that depends on how awful those choices are allowed to be ![]()
But hey, I know nothing of some of the other companions yet. For all I know, Solas could end up being the Inquisitor's adoring fan and impossible to get rid of unless you beat him off with your shoe.

I agree that it's either Cassandra or Varric (hoping it's Varric since he's my favorite character in Dragon Age so far)

I personally think it's Varric, Cole or Cassandra.
Varric because he's such a bro and he just can't resist a good story.
Cole because... Asunder and Cole and just yeah.
And Cassandra because she's the one who starts this thing with you. That doesn't mean she's not going to make your life a living hell though.

May actually be by options.
eg: Alistair vs Loghain. In DAO Alistair was the only companion that wouldn't/couldn't leave, and then you could 'swap him out'. Thus, they are both the sole character.
Faction vs faction. Technically Varric was the only one incapable of leaving under any conditions, but you could be reduced to only one other by choosing mage/templar sides.
In the first case you can reduce yourself to Alis pretty quickly (though Loghain being the 11th hour ranger means he's end-game only). In the second, however, though you may TECHNICALLY be reduced to 1 or 2 party members, it's only for the final boss battle(s) - so it wouldn't affect general play.

Cole.
Whenever you try kicking him out, he makes you forget about it.
So, he is like the Silence then? As soon as you turn your back on him you don't remember?
It might be Cassandra or Varric, although from the sounds of it it seems like you could really end up pissing Varric off hardcore in Inquisition.

Cassandra character profile also says : "Once Cassandra commits to a cause, she jumps in with both feet, and the Inquisition is no exception."
I don't think she's going anywhere.
Keep in mind the inquisitor is the only one who can close fade rips. So while she may be willing to kill you after the final fade rip is closed, she probably won't be before that.
I'm hoping this is what happens to players who "failed", similar to ME2 suicide mission failure. Except here, it's your right hand getting ride of you because you are a total incompetent once you are of no more use.

I would say Varric, but he seems to have changed a bit since DA2. If your Inquisitor was to keep doing things like leaving Crestwood to burn, I don't imagine he'll stick around.
And in the end...I kind of feel like he's still Hawke's bro to the close rather than the Inquisitor's. :S

You really believes that Varric would have stayed with Hawke if keep doing things like leaving Crestwood to burn?

I guess I worded that kind of badly. No, I don't think he would have. He was always a good person at heart.
He just seems a little more...vocal about it now.

"Come on Seeker, don't you want to see our handiwork?"
Yeah, I don't think he's going to put up with much bullshit this time around. Hopefully I can still be best buds with him if I'm a decent person, though.
