Cassandra without a doubt she seems to be the one without a hidden motive and really wants to restore order to the world.
Who is that one companion we can't get rid of?

You really believes that Varric would have stayed with Hawke if keep doing things like leaving Crestwood to burn?
He sticks with Hawke even if Hawke spends their time murdering people and selling out their friends.

Yup he was in my party during one playthough when Hawkke let the knight commander kill their sister.

Many people say Dante er... I mean Cole.
I don't think so. I expect Dante to be a combination of the most infuriating traits of Dante from the previous game er... I mean Fenris and emo Anders.
And he will betray you.
Or turn into a terrorist.
Most likely both,
I think that Cassandra will be the one. I bet that there are a lot of things she can stab in the Skyhold.

I'm more interested in speculating what you can do to ostracize all of the other members.
I wonder what I'd have to do to ****** Blackwall off so much that he's just like "peace, dick."
I don't think its Varric just because in those first Inquisition videos, it shows that Varric was highly upset by you not choosing to save the village and the devs implied that "party members may leave you based on your decisions."

That could just be me reading into it. It matches some crackpot theories I have about the inquisitor, and I'd love to wander Thedas with only Cole by my side.

Varric's the type of guy that would want to see this thing through to the end, but I don't think the type of Inquisition he wants to work for is a vicious or heartless one. He stuck by Hawke's side throughout DA2 even when he or she was a jerk because there was no globally catastrophic event going on and Hawke made for a good story. The situation now is... a little more serious.
Cassandra's the one that's zeroed in on restoring order no matter what. IIRC, even in Gaider's Cassandra interview on the website he writes that she's the type of person who always finishes something once she starts it. If you were a dick enough she'd probably hate you forever, sure, but she still knows the Inquisitor is the only one who can close the Breach. She's a professional, dammit!

Cassandra seems likely. All her spinoff appearances seem to be leading up to the Inquisition. She wouldn't abandon you regardless of how much she hate your guts.

That's why I think she's the character with the biggest agenda or part of a plot twist. She seems way too selfless right now...
And we all know Dragon Age is full of grey and dark-grey people, selfless doesn't exist in that world.

Probably Cassandra, but it would be interesting if, depending on the choices you made, the final companion varied some. Like Cassandra is the "standard" final companion, but if you didn't spend enough time beefing up your Keep's defenses then she got killed in a raid by enemy forces or something and the final companion changed to Varric or Cole. It could also be the LI if the Inquisitor had one.

With my luck it will be either Cole or Blackwall...

Cassandra seems likely, I'd be surprised if it was Varric, he had to stick around in DA2 as he was the story teller. For better or worse he was with Hawke for years so maybe built up loyalty to him/her. The inquisitor is new and the timescale, as far as I'm aware, is shorter so it makes sense that any character might leave if things go too much against their beliefs.

I really hope the blood sucking parasite can be destroyed, but knowing bioware he will likely pull an Anders anyhow.

Well if she does betray it would be towards the end of the story when the inquestior has no more use for her.

Certainly Cassandra!
oh gods I hope not.
Never liked her, never will.
I was hoping she would be the first to benefit from my Adrastrain crucifixion plan.

Cassandra seems pretty unanimous here. I totally see why everyone says she'd be the one to remain. However, I see someone else staying for the whole journey, unconditionally...
Solas! I know many of you would read that and think "lol wut" but I actually have a feeling Solas is going to be pretty integral to the main questline. We know nothing of him really, except that he is a Fade Expert, and going to be an invaluable asset when dealing with Fade matters. As that seems to be the main conflict (the main one, not solely limited to). So I can see Solas being forced to stay, whether he wants to or not (or whether the Inquisitor likes it or not).
However that's just speculation. If not Solas, then yeah I agree with practically everyone else. Cassandra's a keeper.

Yeah, I'm definitely thinking Cassandra is one of the companions that will stick with you throughout the game no matter what.

Doubt it will be Varric, as most of what we've heard sounds like he'll actually have strong opinions this time around, unlike in DA2 where he was like ME3 garrus and generally agreed with whatever you did.
Best bet is Cassandra, I think.

Its possible it could be anyone depending on your playthrough. I might have to do 9 playthroughs to find out.

What if you are left with no more companions near the end? Would it be possible for the advisors to become temp party members? Cullen is already a warrior. Leliana is a rogue. Scribbles is speculated to be a mage
You'll have the class trifecta in your advisors + your PC
