Not a conspiracy if I remember right. the Bioware guys wanted a "classic Roswell" Alien. So now we have salarians If you mean in-game I really don't know... The truth is out there...

Well, salarians are majorly scientists right?

Maybe top secret salarian teams that the council only knew about experimented on humans, and majority of the galaxy believes turians were first contact.

I always thought this was a cool thought too,also I believe the turians represent the somewhat popular "reptilian" aliens some people have claimed to have seen.

In ME1 if you got the trinket from the consort you could take it to a planet and insert it into a sphere thing and read a short story about how the proeithians were monitoring earth and abducting cave men and stuff possibly having something to do with our evolution,one of the most memorable things in the game for me.

Yep, Salarians wearing full armor and helms look almost exactly like the so called greys.



Big heads comparably to bodies due to round helmets that cover horns with large eye like scanners ... guess they landed for a bit of fun back in 1950s and 1960s.

Ah it was assumed that it was the protheans but considering the abduction does anyone think this could be more in relation to the collectors?
