DAI looks cool. It does, I just saw the full 45 minute gameplay demo from E3 and it looks awesome.

But after DA2 and ME3 I'm just unsure of trusting BioWare, but this game does look like it has potential.

Wait, they've released the full 45 minute demo? I've only managed to find the ones cut down to ten and twenty minutes!

I'll admit it looks good, but I'm still on the fence on whether it is worth the pre-order. Considering, the bugged mess that I got in DA2, and how long it took to patch,(Oh, and lets not forget the Zevran romance bug). I  will likely wait until it's on sale for like $20 aud.

I've already pre-ordered DAI myself. Then again, I didn't hate DA2.

I trust BioWare, personally, but it doesn't really matter, because you'll have to decide for yourself, in the end. Does it look good enough to take the risk? That's up to you.

I liked all of their DA games so far, and the literature... so I'm sold. I'm more hesitant about future ME games.

I don't preorder anything unless it has HALO or Rockstar attached to it.... I'm interest in DAI because it looks like they're returning the series to it's roots and also the scale of the game is truly next gen. The World is big suffice it to say.

I loved ME3, and don't hate DAII nearly as much as most people, so... yeah, I'm preordering it.

If you are still undecided, continue watching over the next four months. Bioware will be releasing more gameplay details, you can be sure of that.

You can also read reviews and consult metacritic when the game comes out.

To be honest, I find these threads unbelievably tiresome and grating. Everyone has hicups now and then. People make mistakes, learn from them, and develop as artists, writers, and producers.

Also, let's keep in mind that this is not a life or death decision. You are not deliberating about getting a kidney transplant or how best to treat a grave illness. You are purchasing a video game that will set you back $50.

Get over ME3 and DA 2 people ... move on with your lives and stop ruminating on it.

The demo not being on final hardware raised some flags.

My only gripes with Bioware have been thus: 1: A slightly sub-par experience with DAII. 2: Letting EA bully them into rushing the ending of ME3. And 3: Going the MMO route with the Kotor franchise (though TOR is still a fantastic game in my opinion).

The first quam has been addressed by the way the DAI looks and feels. The second addressed by the shear amount of time they've had to polish the game (and the fact that the game has been "playable" all the way through for some time now). And the third is a non-issue that probably will never affect the DA franchise as a whole (we hope).

So yeah. Preordered the Inquisitor's edition for Xbox One and the Deluxe Edition for Xbox 360. Most if not all of my fears have been assuaged. That's just me however. Use your own judgment.

And we can jump at last!

The Dragon Age franchise is my most beloved.  Origins is one of my top five favorite games.  DA2 had its issues, but it also had many positives for me, so I enjoyed it for what it was.   Inquisition is looking to be beautiful and much more of all the things I want and enjoy, so I've preordered long ago.

I don't judge the DA Team for things that happened in the ME Team.

I'll probably be pre-ordering a DA title for the first time! (bought the first two on launch day.) It looks awesome!

Loved DA;O, didn't enjoy DA2 much, loved ME3 until the final 10 minutes (and it's not half as bad after the extended cut.)

Mass effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 were good games, and the general attitude of clinging to that one aspect that annoyed you and harping on and on and on about it, "not trusting the company" is stupid. One bad design decision does not ruin an entire franchise, not to even begin mentioning the entire company behind it. >.> My 2 jonnymonniez.

DA franchise will always have a speical place in my heart. Origin is the game that brought me back to gaming, and only game I played over 200 hours (according to steam). Despite DA2 (and ME3) being a huge disappointment, there were few things that I liked very much and the world is just too fascinating to give up.

Hell, I even read all those books, books! I don't even read that much and I finished all of them just in a week. That's how much I love the world of this game.

Alas, I'm still keeping my expections low just in case. Everything they showed us so far look really awesome, but gameplay wise there are still some fishy looking things that need... clarification.

So answer is no, I haven't pre-ordered it yet, I'll probably do it when they release more information in coming months..for now I'm remaining slightly skeptical.

Indeed. Different teams.

I pre ordered the CE as soon as I could! I love DA, as well. The entire universe is AMUZEN and so beautifully crafted and detailed... Origins is one of my top 5 games, too! I always get a bit emotional at the ending.

The goodbyes before the ending finale give me so many EMUSHUNZ.  Even after playing the game a ridiculous number of times over the last, what, five years.

Origins was very good. DA2 was one of the worst games I've had the displeasure of playing. I always base my franchise pre-orders on what went before. There is a enough uncertainty to not change that. The Xbox timed exclusive stuff makes it even easier. By the time I get around to it, it will have been out in the wild long enough to know whether its a DA:O or DA2.

I didn't think I could trust them after DA2 ME3's ending failures but it seems to me that this time they are doing their best. Probably trying to save the series and the reputation
So I have preordered it but I am quite anxious

I am on the fence.

I have seen a lot to like about Inquisition but DA2 had far too many issues (although I liked it overall) and I did not like the writing in Mass Effect 3 at all (although different teams work on each series so this may not be an issue).

My largest concern is how much auto-dialogue has been taking over in recent Bioware games. The amount of things Hawke and Shepard said that I'd never picture my character saying in a million years was jarring. Naturally they cannot account for all tastes, but I never had this problem in Origins or Mass Effect 1.

I am going to keep an eye on things for the time being and decide closer to the time. There'd be no point me pre-ordering yet anyway as I am not sure what platform I'd play it on anyway. My PC is too old for it and I don't really fancy getting the PS3 version as that is likely to be the weakest.

It also helps that the special editions don't really have anything that particularly appeals to me, so I am not too worried if I miss out on them by waiting too long.

I have preordered DAI. Visually I am really liking what I've seen so far, and I trust enough that the main storyline will be engaging. I do have quite a lot of questions surrounding gameplay mechanics, and I really wish Bioware would start to give information of that kind on a more detailed level rather than reveal "you can also romance this person" (I know I am going a bit against the focus on these forum boards on this  ;) ).

I enjoyed both Origins and Dragon Age 2, though the replay value of DA2 was quite low due to the obvious many time mentioned problems, however I generally don't buy games based on replay value alone, more on do I think the potential entertainment time is worth the price. I often compare it to going to the movies, in Denmark where I am from a movie ticket costs about 15-20$ and then I am entertained for 2-3 hours depending on the film, so if a computer game for 70$ can entertain me for e.g. 20 hours, then the investment is worth it to me and I am confident enough in Bioware and DAI that the price is worth it for a Dragon Age game. Whether it has replay value is something I consider a bonus afterwards.

I loved Mass Effect 1 and 2, while Mass Effect 3 didn't do much for me. This wasn't due to the ending, as I found all the sidequesting very poorly done and basically singleplayer versions of the otherwise great multiplayer, main quests were fantastic though. However Mass Effect series has played no role whatsoever in my decision making process as the two game series can't be compared.

DA2 was rushed, no doubt, and the devs have admitted their faults. Add in that the Dragon Age team at Bioware is completely different from the Mass Effect team, and I'm confident that this game will be a success, especially since they said that Inquisition is what they wanted DA2 to be, but they needed DA2 to set the stage or something like that. I've stopped thinking of DA 2 as a direct sequel and more like a bridge between two epics.

I personally preordered it.

Yeah, I'm not pre-ordering. Not after ME3 and DA2.

If it reviews well here and on critic sites I'll grab a digital copy on PS4.

God... ME3... :(
