Going to pre-order it.
My only fear at this point is that DA:I will be a bit too "Soap opery" for me. (Don't know why I'm getting this feeling, but there it is)
PS:
Yep, "u" ruined it all.

Don't have a dog in this fight. MY money was not spent on it. Giftcards were. I get my cake and eat it too. After ME3 I was only going to buy it on sale a year or 2 after the release. I found DA2 very palatable for $20. ME3 for $90 left me feeling ripped off and Pissed off. Bit I had 3 $25 Gamestop giftcards- WTF am I going to buy at Gamestop?! So There you go.
I'll be preordering...x2. I'll be more guarded than I was for ME3 but I'll take a "bad" Bioware game over the best anyone else has to offer.
Wait! Are you actually saying that a game like DA2 is better than "the best anyone else has to offer." Seriously?
DAI looks cool. It does, I just saw the full 45 minute gameplay demo from E3 and it looks awesome.
But after DA2 and ME3 I'm just unsure of trusting BioWare, but this game does look like it has potential.

I totally get where you're coming from. DAI certainly looks and sounds impressive. A couple of years ago, I wouldn't have hesitated to preorder. But now I keep bracing myself for the other show to drop. I keep remembering the hype for ME3. And all the talk of "Don't worry, it's a completely different team than DA2's"
I really, really want to believe. But last time burned me badly.
I enjoyed playing DA2 and I got more than my money's worth with ME3.
I have preordered DAI deluxe edition paid in full and I will most likely preorder any future games from Bioware whether its ME or next DA game after DAI.
Origins was very good. DA2 was one of the worst games I've had the displeasure of playing. I always base my franchise pre-orders on what went before. There is a enough uncertainty to not change that. The Xbox timed exclusive stuff makes it even easier. By the time I get around to it, it will have been out in the wild long enough to know whether its a DA:O or DA2.
DA2 was a technically sound game, but the copy-paste environments and absurd plot ruined it.
The Dragon Age franchise is my most beloved. Origins is one of my top five favorite games. DA2 had its issues, but it also had many positives for me, so I enjoyed it for what it was. Inquisition is looking to be beautiful and much more of all the things I want and enjoy, so I've preordered long ago.
I don't judge the DA Team for things that happened in the ME Team.
Exactly this for me too, you put it in a much more....diplomatic way than I have though, I get so mad...
Wait! Are you actually saying that a game like DA2 is better than "the best anyone else has to offer." Seriously?
Is your Money , wait and see first , i see some people saying its just $60 it's nothing , well for some people is something , if you are on the fence wait for reviews first , look for gameplay videos and listen to other players , that way you wont regret buying the game , make sure the game is what you want before buying its the best way to be a happy costumer , i never pre-order , its a shot in the dark , i did only one time ( ME3 Deluxe Edition ) and for me was a bad decision.
Ps: Sorry for my English.

Some people don't buy a lot games.Or they fixate on a particular aspect of a game to exclusion of all others.
I will buy it after premiere IF the game will be good like DAO or ME1 was, and no I will not buy this game to support EA, but to support BioWare...
Everyone has there own feelings about DA2 and ME3. I personally enjoyed them both. Heck I even played SWTOR for 2 years online and enjoyed it. Bioware isn't perfect. They owned up to their faults more than any other game developer has and they do try to listen to their fans. They have my support. I already preordered DA:I. Personally if you don't trust the company anymore and you didn't like DA2 or ME3 why are you even considering DA:I? Personally if you are indecisive about it, you should just wait for a review or maybe rent it. I don't think anyone on this forum will convince you otherwise.
We're doing this again? Haven't we all answered this question already in other threads?
If the OP wants to be convinced then I will echo the suggestion of other people, keep an eye on the game over the next four months and decide for yourself.
I almost never preorder games, but I think DAI is looking pretty good so far. I'm going to buy it as soon as I can, but I'd be lying if I said a small part of me isn't nervous about some things. In the end I'm confident I'll enjoy it. I enjoyed ME3 and DA2 quite a bit even with their flaws.

I agree with this, DA team different than ME team.
Although I LOATHED ME3 at the end, and am STILL upset about it (there's more than just the end to dislike, and a lot to love), I am not judging the DA Franchise in any way based on what happened with ME3. And I have even come around to being interested in what's going on with ME:N.
Ah.....wish I had been able to get the Inquisitor's edition...but that's on me for waiting to see a Lady Inquisitor represented in some official capacity.
*still have not pre-ordered though*
I'm still waiting for a Lady Inqusitor to be on the official game website for that.
It seems like many people -here and in other sites- people are excited for DAI.....BUT ME3 and DA2 left a bitter taste in their mouths.
Many say they won't preorder/ get it the 1st day and will look at reviews. Some wont even bother buying it due to the fact its made by Bioware ![]()
I'll certainly buy the game upon release, maybe even pre-order

You do not need to worry about the actions of other gamers. All that should matter is whether or not you enjoy the game. Let the devs worry about winning over/back those gamers, as they are the ones equipped with the tools to do just that.
For me, yes. I keep getting recommendations on great games from forumites and end up bored with them. Deus ex and Skyrum being examples. That's not to say I don't have complaints or that there are not other games I enjoy, but nothing else comes close in terns of replayability.
You are correct, I'm hard pressed to think of a game with as much replayability as a Bioware game, ME3 and DA2 being the exceptions.
However, in terms of quality, there are lots of games out there I would put up against even the best of Bioware's titles: Skyrim, Dark Souls, Fallout, Persona (Shin Megami Tensei), Lost Odyssey.
If you are okay with a tactical RPG than XCOM, Valkyria Chronicles, or Fire Emblem are excellent.
If you are open to anything than try a Naughty Dog Game. They were hands down the best developer of last Gen and The Last of Us was a beautiful masterpiece that is truly unforgettable. I will carry it with me always just like Ocarina of Time, KoTOR, or the original Starcraft.
Wait! Are you actually saying that a game like DA2 is better than "the best anyone else has to offer." Seriously?
It all depends on what someone likes about a game, and I would agree that I'd put DA2 above other releases that came out around the same time. First and foremost, I enjoy games with a well defined female protagonist which includes other fleshed out characters travelling with the PC. I played Skyrim, but it felt like an empty soulless world. Dark Soul's emphasis on difficult gameplay definitely turned me off. It also didn't look very appealing in terms of character interactions.
P.S. DA2 has actually grown on me the more I've played it, and I think I've now spent more hours in DA2 than DAO. The repeated caves were annoying the first or second time, but by the time you're replaying a game for a 3rd time or more, the locations will all become repetitive. I learned to enjoy the subtle differences between rivalries/friendships and a sarcastic/diplomatic/direct Hawke.
Where are people seeing the 45 minute demo????
I'll admit it looks good, but I'm still on the fence on whether it is worth the pre-order. Considering, the bugged mess that I got in DA2, and how long it took to patch,(Oh, and lets not forget the Zevran romance bug). I will likely wait until it's on sale for like $20 aud.
Because DAO was not released bugged or anything nor did it take Bioware forever to patch that game, right and it's not like DAo still has bugs right?
