Utterly laughable.

Yeah, I'm not going to bother past this point. You guys obviously don't care.

An excuse for people to engage in racist behavior against those they perceive to be racist and not have to own up to their own hipocrisy. Also, it allows those racists to have an excuse to attack entire groups of people; a racist behavior; and yet avoid said hipocrisy.

Elves have the ability to attack humans for being humans and therefore, they have the power to enact racism.

"Grievances"? This isn't some petty squabble, this is institutional violence against a group of people.

You completely avoided my point, choosing instead to focus on semantics and act outraged. Try again.

One lone human is a lot different from a group of armed ones being led by a noble with an history of violence against elves. What exactly have elves to be wary of in the first case?

Not sure if this will even be possible, but assuming it is:

  • Side with the Tevinter Imperium
  • Destroy the Chantry or at least minimize its influence throughout Thedas.
  • Defeat the Templars and free the mages from their Circles.

Ideally I would like to force all of Thedas to submit to the will of Morrigan, but I doubt Bioware will let me do that. Here's hopin!

Well, if the Hero of Ferelden ventures into the Eluvian with her, she has at least one ally who supports her plans. :)

I hope to destroy any encountered Dalish clans if they act hostile, their pretty much the Quarians of DA, got themselves in their present situation but always just put the blame on humans for all their troubles instead & i have no pity for them, their arrogance & racist belief in the immortality myth will be the downfall of the Dalish.

Depends what happens in the game, but I know I will have 1 playthrough aligned with Celene and 1 aligned with Gaspard. My main will be a mage and thus be aligned with the mage faction as well.

According to the human historical account, the Dalish are to blame because of the attack on Red Crossing, while the elven historical account reads that the inception of the war started because of the soldiers of the Chantry trespassing into their sovereign kingdom; since we aren't in a position to know which account is accurate, I don't think it's fair to say the Dalish are to blame for the current situation.

I also don't see elven lore as inherently racist; the tale of the Quickening didn't prohibit Aveline from being adopted into the clan; it didn't stop the Dalish from signing a treaty with the Grey Wardens; it doesn't stop Velanna's clan from viewing her being in the company of humans as a positive sign; it didn't stop Merrill from having no issue with humans or city elves, given her desire to protect the (human) Starkhaven mages from the templars, her friendship (or romance) with Hawke, or her befriending members of the Kirkwall Alienage.

In one playthrough I will destroy all them if possible. My femquis doesn't need help.

In another playthrough, I will flip a coin at which faction will be destroyed and which faction to align with

In another playthrough, I will be the goody-two-shoe that will align with every faction if possible.

I am of an ethnic minority, one that has history of being treated with a racist undertone in the old country.

The idea that my people did not also, or rather as you say incapable of, act in a racist manner right back at them is indeed laughable.

And I know my people.

An excuse for people to engage in racist behavior against those they perceive to be racist and not have to own up to their own hipocrisy. Also, it allows those racists to have an excuse to attack entire groups of people; a racist behavior; and yet avoid said hipocrisy.

Why can't they be more like the Clans in Rivain

Because the Rivain in Llomerryn who follow the Natural Order likely aren't threatening the nearby Dalish to convert, trying to kidnap or kill their mages, or running the clan off the land with violence or lynch mobs? Just some thoughts as to why it might be a little different for the Dalish in the "semi-permanent" settlement there, than it is in the rest of Thedas.

My destroy list includes anyone who's causing havoc in Orlais. That includes rebel mages, red templars, demons and rebel elves. I'm planning to support Celene, so Gaspard is also on the **** list.

As for mages, elves and templars; if they turn out to be willing to stop fighting and reach some sort of arrangement, they'll be spared. Otherwise I'll wipe them out whenever I find them.

Forget the plight of Elves and Mages!

You know who is more discriminated against then even Dalish and Circle mages? A group that has a kill on sight response from everyone in Thedas? A group that has the other races of Thedas activly go out to hunt and kill their children?

Dragons.

Werewolves.

Giants/Trolls

Everyone is arguing over the petty politics of the humans, elves, dwarves, and qunari but no one gives one thought to these intelligent, sapient creatures. (only half kidding though)

Yavana cares about the dragons. ;) As the Witch of the Tellari swamps says, "The blood of dragons is the blood of the world."

I have three complete runs on DAO, and sadly only for my 3rd PC (F!Cousland, Rogue, Neutral Evil) could I justify leaving the humans cursed and let them snack on Dalish.

Ah, Gwendolyn Cousland, how I miss that evil b***h. :(

Oh, I have learned to never underestimate my irrational gaming hatred for the Dalish.

Heck, the only reason I did not sic the wolves on them in my headcanon M!Cousland run in DAO was because my Chaotic Good PC was too noble to allow them to suffer the curse any longer.

But why the hatred? Mostly because they are xenophobic, racist d-bags who enforce cultural hatred on their young simply because they refuse to leave the past behind and face reality. Wah wah, culture and past glories, wah wah. Oh bloody hell, shut up already.

Oh and they treat/think of their city cousins like/as trash simply because they refuse to live like homeless bandits while clinging to a dead culture/religion/way of life under the guise of "nobility" whilst promoting racial hatred. Yeah, real outstanding bunch of people.

City Elves? Will do everything in power to improve lives.

The Dalish? Burn, motherfuckers, burn.
