Wow, almost everybody in this thread didn't even bother to read the OP's post.

"hey fanboys, I was speaking about lies, not game breaking"

He means why lie, he's not complaining about the disc swapping. *facepalm*

Except for there's a difference between a lie and a miscommunication. Which is made null by the fact that Casey Hudson said in an interview that we DO change discs twice.

This...really isn't a big deal, people. -_-

Besides...I love that this game is SO massive that they HAD to put it on two discs. As an RPG lover, that makes me very happy. ^^

Install to hard drive. There you go. BTW, I spoke to Casey back before Mass Effect 1 was released, he told me that originally they wanted ME1 on three discs to comfortably hold the content but Microsoft wanted it all done on one disc. ME1 suffered for all that compression. Be glad ME2 is on two discs. I'd be even happier if it was on PS3.

Does it matter? To actually have the arrogance to assume this was worth creating a thread on is really the icing on the cake. Deciding to THEN address people as "fanboys" is the cherry.

Besides, this was brought up over a week ago in another thread.

@OP - Come back when you have something meaningful and new to contribute.

Unless you can prove somebody at Bioware was wringing there hands being like "How can we lie to these suckers" or something like that, there is no reason to think it's anything more than a simple miscommunication.

In fact with all the things that is ME2 I am sure it's hard to know everything 100% all the time, I expect someone heard "Hey there is gonna be disc swapping" but didn't go on to define how much, and now how much has been defined, no biggie.

hah. ok. I didn't think of that.wait... my god, how fanboys can be brainless these days...installing on the drive won't change the number of swaps required in order to complete the game : 2. inform yourself before answering in the same way of your little friends. another lie from bioware, and that's the reviewers that learn us something bioware should have indicated way before.

Well that is a bummer. Oh well... I'm not going to really complain about disc swapping coming from a 30+ hour game. 3 MORE DAYS!

Why can't they just make it so that you can install both discs and have the license verification only be on disc one? That way we can play the whole time without swapping discs.

Wasn't this announced last year that ME2 would be a 2 disc game for the 360 and that the need to swap the discs would be at a convinent time.

Do you wanna instal 15+ GB's of data on your 360 just so you can avoid a swap?  I mean I am not, I don't wanna waist that much space on something that takes half a miniute to do.

The problem is now that convinent time is now at a middle point of the story, and the end game of the story, which people feel cheated and lied to for some reason cause it's at that spot, well really almost no one feels cheated or lied to but the OP.

I have a 120gb drive and am not pressed for space. I can easily delete it when I'm done or if I need more space.

I was going to install it anyway to cut down on load times, texture pop-in, and disc drive sound.

If you install to the HD will you still have to swap discs? Not that I really care that much, just curious as I intend to install it anyway.

Affirming, I would like to know this, aswell.
