I've always tried to get the CE of most Bioware game's but I recently got an email from Gamestop informing me that my pre-purchase of the CE I ordered last month can not be filled as they sold more than they had been given to sell and they apologized for the misunderstanding.

So while I'm disheartened by this and little bit upset at least they told me instead of the day of shipping in Oct., so I decided to order the deluxe edition and I'm told those are all sold out as well, I'm left with just a standard edition this upsets me.

Why so limited in the quantity?

Is the company's employees buying these games up and not letting their customers not get a chance to buy them?

I don't understand anymore it makes my head hurt are we so possessed with greed that running businesses isn't about the customers it's about how much you can steal and mark it up.

I was hoping Bioware had the CE on their site but I think I can get the digital deluxe here if it doesn't pop up sold out.

<Sigh>

Damn, that sucks.  Out of curiosity, when did you place your order?  GameStop still lists the CE as available on their site last I checked.

If you bought the CE early in the morning on the first day of availability. And you still have your receipt. Tell them to prove to you that the copy you bought was indeed one that they did not have to sell. As with all companies. They must keep a record of all transactions for 7 yrs incase they are audited by the IRS.

Basically this as an example..... If they have 5 copies to sell at that particular store. And the store opens at, lets say 8 am. And you purchased your game at 9 am. Get them to prove they sold the 5 copies before you purchased yours. No matter what amount they said they have to sell. Tell them to prove they sold X # of copies before yours. Assuming you actually purchased a copy before they were "sold out". They may have violated a state or federal law.

Or you can just not give a bleep and accept the basic version of DA:I.

I did purchase the CE on 04/30 and as I talked with the Gamestop Manager he said it's a prepurchase and no money was exchanged until the day the game comes out so he said tough luck.

Apparently Gamestop did this to a friend of mine as well in another state, so why even list the CE if your not really going to sell them to the customers,

very frustrating.

My version is the PC version though the guy at Gamestop was willing to sell me an XBOX One so I could get a DA CE for, I own a PC no console's.

Coarse I decided to check ebay and the penny auctions and guess what people are selling their Dragon Age Inquisition CE's for $500 bucks or more because Bioware decided to limit their quantity's, but it would be very funny if they put out more to make those auctions worthless.

I apologize but this makes me mad and I can't believe I'm getting emotional for a game that's not even out yet, Bioware makes good games guess that's why I feel so down.
