You can play Witch Hunt with the Awakening Orlesian Warden can't you? This would prevent you from going through the mirror with her but the Orlesian Warden could still stab her couldn't they?

I would think the option for the Warden's fate should be enough to prevent Morrigan from thinking he or she stabber her. Although testing it out now, the Warden dying doesn't seem to trigger a conflict with going through the mirror with Morrigan. Sounds like something that should be fixed.

Is there plans to add the decision the Warden/Warden Commander made about the Messenger in DA:A?

That was one of the more interesting choices in my primary play though.

Oh that's a good one, I almost forgot about him. Do you get to decide the Messenger's fate if you choose to follow his advice and return to save Vigil's Keep?

I have to admit I've only just found out it's possible to get Morrigan pregnant with a human child, not through the Ritual. Interesting.

Wait this is actually a thing, and not a bug with the epilogue slides? This brings a bunch of new possibilities...(of screwing over Alistair for profit and nookie)

Have they said anything about adding the Return to Ostagar choice of what the Warden did with the King's body?

Yup, that's one I missed, too.

Not, that it seemed to be  overly important.

But compared to the prisoner, I've fed in Ostagar with the guard's lunch, I'd consider the King's cremation as a bit more meaningful.

Has anyone else played with the World Randomizer feature? I've tried it a few times and every single time it gave me the result of Did Not Recruit Sten. Mind you, this could be the work of the RNG gremlin, but I just thought I'd toss it out there to see if anyone else has gotten a more varied result when using the randomizer.

I have, and come to think of it I'm not sure if I've ever seen Sten be recruited either...hmm. I just submitted a bug report for it just in case.

I don't remember getting to do so. Can others verify?

I want to say you can't either, but I don't have Origins installed at the moment.

According to the Wiki: "If the Commander chooses to return to Vigil's Keep (as the Disciple recommends) it presumably returns to the Architect's side and, regardless of how the Wardens deal with the Architect, follows the rest of its kind back underground."

Not sure if anyone had this problem. I notice that if I help Dagna to study at the circle it gives me option that if I choose to help her my Warden dies? I was just wondering why helping Dagna would cause my Warden to die at the end?

I have played DAO a multiple of  times and the choice of helping Dagna didn't cause my Warden to die at fighting the ArchDemon.

Strange... I have also chosen "...studies at Circle" and had no problem.

... I'm not sure that 'did you feed the prisoner at Ostagar?' or 'did you get ironbark for Master Varathorn?' really count as big story decisions?

While there are some things missing that I'd really like to see (chiefly Sigrun and Velanna) there seem to be plenty of of minor choices to give flavour to each world state.

It never showed those choices for me. It did the big events of Origins and skipped straight to Dragon Age II. Awakening wasn't covered at all.

When I get back from work tonight I'll give it another try. Hopefully more will be shown this time.

Ah, I see the problem! The interactive story only shows the big decisions, but there are more than a hundred tiles in the Tapestry if you want to set all the other choices that way. (By my count, we're currently at 132 with at least a few more to come.)

While there are a handful of things that aren't in there which I would like to see, it's got a lot of content.

During the battle for the mage tower we come to a room, in which a possessed templar talks with a succubus, his "wife".

I always killed "her", but aren't there other options, like letting "her" go?

If so, shouldn't this be another choice in the tapestry?

If you consider the hundreds of plot flags that were in the games' old save export system (so I've read), then I think the Keep has a lot of catching up to do. I mean, I'm sure Notices of Termination might not make any difference, but there are other, far more important quests missing. I've made suggestions through the feedback system, but I have confidence that the good stuff will be added in due time.

The so called hundreds really only covered 20 plot lines from DA:O and all the DLC  into DA2. So in truth the Keep has caught up tenfold, a lot of people don't seem to realize this. For example only companion that made it to DA2 (and encoded) from awakening was Nathaniel no one else's fate was gong to show up via save file in the future.

I also requested this to be added but more so to add variety to the Circle quest since there aren't many choices there.

Are there news about all the NPCs of Awakening, who were NOT companions and what I did for them?

Examples:

I meet Lynne, who is about to travel to an important congress. I should find someone for her.

I helped the templar to hunt down maleficars.

I stopped the pirates and the Amaranthine "mafia"

etc.

I ask this, because I have always the prologue thing in mind "did you feed the prisoner..." or later "...did you find ironbark for Varathorn".

If I would have to evaluate the impact on Thedas, then IMO a coast free of pirates or an uncorrupted major city (if I decided to protect it) should have some weight.

Thoughts?

I dont know if this was mentioned before or if its an issue with the current "default" warden state but when I choose my city elf rogue start it talks about the wood elf start, that seems a bit off.

Is this in the ISS? Does the narration mention that your Warden is Dalish? or is it the image of the Dalish warden?

Many a time the ISS will get the Warden wrong at the beginning for some reason. I've found this seems to happen more often when you try to change the hero. However, I don't know if that is actually related to the problem, it could just be a coincidence.

Yeah, the narration talks about the Dalish origin when I selected the City Elf origin.

One thing I've been thinking about recently is the question about Cullen. I was actually kinda happy to see the option to choose whether Hawke and Cullen were friends, but this is almost an entirely subjective part of the experience isn't it? I know there is one line in act 3 where Hawke can say they are friends, but so far as I remember there's no actual plot states that affect this in Dragon Age 2. Is it even possible to get Cullen to be consistently mean to you?

The image appears to be Cullen shaking his fist. Does the choice in the keep saying they weren't friends imply that they hated each other or that they just weren't that close?

Hey did anyone notice that there are a few new choices in the tapestry?  Under Companions, and "Did Morrigan have a baby?" tile, there's a new one that says "Morrigan had a human baby with the warden."  I want to choose it for one of my world states, but I am a bit confused by it.  As far as I knew, Morrigan only had a baby with the Dark Ritual quest!  Unless this choice refers to romancing Morrigan and NOT doing the Dark ritual quest?  Any ideas?

Your guess is correct. In the epilogue slides, Morrigan is mentioned to be with child if the Warden romanced her or if the DR was performed. If the DR was performed, the child will always be the Old God Baby. If she was romance and the DR was not performed, the baby will be human. Morrigan does not have a child if the DR was not performed and she was not romanced.

I've always been nice to him, but I've heard his personality can change if you're consistently mean and disagreeable.

Well that opens up a lot of possibilities then! I don't suppose any other companion romances have children then (would seem pretty unnecessary), but even so it would kind of amuse me if anyone else did.

I tried that so many times. It seems that some of the more "evil" choices, especially for a mage I was able to do. Like kill the guy in cage. Deal with demon possessing Connor. Let Jowan kill Isolde. Defiling the ashes. Even letting the Tevintner mage kill the elves for power. But anything to do with the companions I couldn't do. I remember telling Zevran he should go and his response instantly changed my mind. Even to the point when defiling the ashes caused Wynne to leave. I reloaded and did it again so that she didn't leave. So yes, I will be doing a world stare like that since I could never actually do it in game.

Ha ha. My dwarf commoner is thus, and aside from a few conflicts in the Keep that were NOT in the game (I will note these, and have submitted them as feedback), this is totally what I did with her!

Quinn Brosca, Female Commoner Rogue

Prologue

Killed prisoner

Put Mabari out of it's misery (Yes, I really did this in game mwahahaha)

Nature of the Beast

Broke Cammen and Gheyna up (In game she slept with Cammen, then told Gheyna he was screaming her name while they made love)

Allowed hall to be killed.

Didn't tell Athras about his wife's death.

Didn't bring Ironbark to Varathorn

Killed Deygan

Sided with the werewolves

Paragon of her Kind

Joined forces against Caridin

Refused to help Dagna

Bhelen rules Orzamaar

Didn't encounter Mardy (duh)

Didn't have son with Mardy (duh)

Killed Ruck and told truth.

Proved Legion of Dead connection to noble house.

Sold tome to a fence.

Didn't help Burkel create a Chantry

Zerlinda stayed in Dust Town

Completed Rogek's lyrium deal.

Didn't help Orta join Assembly

Broken Circle

Told Wynne outright that I was working with the Templars, so Wynne

First Enchanter Irving died in battle

Templars Supported.

Denerim

Ser Landry killed (bum rushed him lol)

Didn't tell Bann Sighard about Oswyn

Didn't give scroll to Sister Justine

Completed Slim Couldry's Crime Wave

Didn't clear out the Pearl

DIdn't clear out the Crimson Oars

Didn't give Alfstanna Imiric's ring

Didn't return amulet to beggar (seriously I have NEVER done this... never even knew about this quest!)

Completed Master Ignacio's assassinations

Did not take Alistair to see Goldanna (seems to want to keep changing back to saying I didn't even encounter her)

Leliana killed Marjorlaine (same as Goldanna, keeps wanting to say I didn't even encounter her)

The Arl of Redcliffe

Didn't help Redcliffe prepare

Didn't help Redcliffe in the battle.

Did nothing to help find Bevin

Did not recuse Owen's daughter.

Connor died.

Isolde is alive

Belle did not survive

The Urn of Sacred Ashes

Urn Poisoned (and I had Leliana with me so... Leliana )

The Landsmeet

Anora Rules

Recruited Loghain

Told Alistair to be a man for once... and Alistair was executed

Battle of Denerim

Loghain killed the Archdemon

Warden's Keep

Killed Sophia and let Avernus do whatever he wanted.

Stone Prisoner

Both Kitty and Amalia perished

Shale is Alive and Well (Did not take her to Anvil of the Void)

Return to Ostagar (Not currently in the Keep, but these are my decisions)

Threw Cailian to the wolves

Recruited Dog! (See below!)

Witch Hunt

Stabbed Morrigan

Companions

No one romanced (Call her racist (but then again, she did sleep with Cammen), but srsly? Why no dwarf love in ANY of the games????)

RECRUITED DOG (Here is a conflict... it won't let me set this properly since Return to Ostagar isn't in the Keep. )

Intimidated Revered Mother to release Sten

Recovered Sten's Sword.

Nathaniel Alive & Well

Recruited Zevran (but he betrayed me later so Zevran)

No Dark Ritual, Alistair was executed, we were not lovers, and I let Flemeth live but still got the Grimoire

Not finished entirely with my DA2 part of this save but the highlights...

She's a rogue but she's humorous and very close with Bethany, so very pro-mage, yet also anti-blood mage.  So any blood mages she killed, but otherwise she stayed true to mages and pretty much did all the anti-templar stuff she could.  Her romance was Isabela.  Bethany became a Grey Warden.  She recovered Malcom's Will, sided with Larius, and she kissed Talis and didn't make her angry.

Oh and she did not approve of Anders blowing the chantry up, and she granted his wish of death.  He just went too far, especially hurting was that she HELPED HIM DO IT (I did do that "cure" quest where he lies to you to get your help)
