For now I have one world state. My mage elf is named Gabriel Surana and I have a female Hawke with the default look named Diana. Diana is witty and funny and romanced Merrill. Plus she sided with the mages and still managed to keep Fneris around lol. My Warden was very heroic and did his best to save everyone in Ferelden. Additionally, Alistair was made king and my Warden did the dark ritual aka the nasty with Morrigan.

First slate

Elf male warrior, romanced Morrigan, followed her through the Eluvian.

Was the good guy at everything, convincing rev. mother to release sten,

Didn't let anyone die as he released Eamon and his family from the demon.

Executed Loghain so Alistair can marry Anora and be King.

Did the ritual, obviously.

Killed the Archdemon.

Female Rogue Hawke sided with the mages, romanced Merill.

Anders lives.

Supported the mages all the way.

For my first world state I basically made one where every choice I made was the "nice/good" choice. I don't know I'm kind of sappy like that. But for the next one I'm going to go through and pick a whole bunch of the darker choices, basically make an insane killer warden, no biggie.

In most of my playthroughs, I followed a sort of moral code that kept me decisions in-line with one another so that most of them coincided with each other--more-or-less I was consistently playing the same game over and over again with different characters and a different personality or maybe a few different decisions here and there.  So, for my first world state, that was the order I followed.  I selected from the default wardens my favorite origin (the female city elf) and aligned all of the decisions with the ones that I had generally chosen throughout all of my Origins playthroughs.  So I'd generally had romanced Alistair, brokered peace in Nature of the Beast, put Bhelen on the throne and destroyed the Anvil per Caridin's request, saved the mages, killed the dragon cult in the Sacred Ashes quest, placed Alistair on the throne and had him kill Loghain, and then did the Dark Ritual so that we both lived in the end.  In DA:2, I usually had a mage Hawke who was sarcastic or diplomatic (I think I stuck with the diplomatic one in the Keep) who worked for the mercs, had Carver turn into a Grey Warden, kept all of her companions (I worked really freaking hard to always make sure they would all either love or hate me to the maximum degree--generally only Fenris would be rivalry), killed the Arishok, then ultimately sided with the mages.

For my next world state, though, I think I'm going to use my variance worlds that I went off my beaten path with.  The ones were my Warden was a duster who laughed at everything and wanted all the money she could get, who didn't give a care for the consequences and mocked authority and responsibility or where my warden was a careless mage that fell into bed with everyone she could.  I'm just so excited to have my past at my fingertips.

I totally agree about being able to have your past at your fingertips. As much as I loved playing through both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2, after so many playthroughs, I don't think I could stomach one more set of them just to get some world imports out of it. Being able to change it all and make many of them within a relatively small timeframe is just so awesome to be able to do.

As for my world state, I decided to go with what I had decided would be my canon from my first few playthroughs; the main decisions being that, seeing as both the Human Mage and Hawke are related, that they'd be my avatars. Dragon Age: Origins was fairly standard as far as my resolutions of the main quests, with me putting Bhelen on the throne, getting the werewolves cured and the Dalish to fight with me, saving the Mages, and saving Conner without Isolde's death. I noted that for some strange reason, you cannot save Loghain AND have Alistair on the throne alone, despite that being possible in DAO if Alistair was hardened.

Well in DAO, played as a female warrior Elissa Cousland. She recruited everyone, including Shale, and they all left on a good note. Had Morrigan perform the ritual with Alistair, and ended up slaying the Archdemon herself. She romanced and married Alistair to become queen, and let him be the one to defeat Loghain in the duel at Landsmeet. Kept her more level headed and diplomatic to take things going on more seriously, and she was on the good end of the moral spectrum. Saved anyone she could, ect. Played through all DLCs as well. The Architect was killed, and she allowed Morrigan go through the Eluvian, but did not follow her in.

I actually preferred Hawke's story more to be honest. Made her a mage and kept her name as Marian. She is sarcastic and witty most of the time, unless more delicacy was required. Left Carver behind to bring Fenris and Anders along to the Deep Roads, so he became a Templar to make the family situation more tense. She friendship romanced the broody elf and stayed pro mage most of the time, much to his annoyance. Defeated the Arishok in single combat to protect Isabela, and sided with the mages at the end of the game. Anders was not killed, because the whole make him a martyr thing, and for the fact I wanted my Hawke to hold her friends in high regard. Even after his betrayal, she wasn't the type to stab him in the back for it. Maybe if he was killed in a different manner than that, the decision might have changed for me. Plus... I found Sebastian annoying. I kind of wanted him to leave.

For the Inquisition, undecided, but probably and elf this time around. Was going to be a dwarf if Varric was a romance, but with that as a no, I have no clue who the Inquisitor will end up with or what personality she will have. Might make her more of a stoic type, with a random sense of humor.

Man, I jumped on here ready to redue my save states and as I'm going through the options I'm realizing that I do not remember quite a few of the side choices, especially for Dragon Age 2. So, it looks like I'm going to have to do a playthrough of the games just so I can get the context so i can finish those choices and have an idea of what they would be for other experiment World states later on.

Hah me too! I started up ANOTHER DA:O game tonight specifically because of all the stuff I saw on the Keep I had no idea about. MUST FIND ALL THE THINGS.

I have two world states:

  1. My main "canon" playthrough (earnest compassionate female elf mage Warden, and snarky goofball female mage Hawke)
  2. My "evil alternate universe" where I played blood mages and took every evil choice available

The evil universe was hard to play, because most of my party members were killed or abandoned me, so... very little assistance during boss fights, lol. I've dabbled in a few other origins, characters, etc, but nothing much I want to create a worldsave for. In the Keep, I'll stick with these two universes.

I probably won't play my evil universe in Inquisition for a while, since I already have my "canon" character picked out for Inquisition, and an idea for another character in my regular universe for a second playthrough. But it's nice to have the evil world saved nonetheless, just in case I want to load up Inquisition and have everything be a horrible absolute mess where everyone's dead, possessed, etc.

I have no issues remembering pretty much any of my choices in my main playthroughs of DA:O and DA2, but I became a DA fan somewhat recently (2013), and I've been writing a lot about those two characters (i.e. novel-length fanfiction), so it's probably easier for me than some other fans.

My first two world saves will be a city elf and a human mage. There is nothing better than a good under dog story and my wardens fit the bill. I mostly stuck to the choices I made in the game which were good choices. I kept my Hawke pretty much the same.

I plan to start another full playthrough before Inquisition is released, this time taking note of all the choices I have to remember for the Keep!

My world state will be a Dalish Elf male Rogue in Origins and a diplomatic male mage in DA2, most of my choices will be "good" choices, keeping everyone alive etc, as I often play nice characters who befriend everyone!

I'm like some of you who replay with only slight variations in the decision trees.  I never feel comfortable playing as ruthless and always fight injustice.  It's hard to choose between the sides because both are so human with maniacs and idiots running amok.  And, as in real life, you have to take a stand.

I've only played as a human female rogue and mage.  Some games I let my sibling go with me to the Dark Roads.  I always romance Zevran and Fenris.  If I do any more replays, I'll try female elves and dwarves.

Yeah, maybe boring to some of you but it's what makes the game fun for me.

I totally understand that. I've replayed DAO/2 tons and sometimes I make new choices, but like 85% of my PTs make basically the same decisions.

Hi everyone!

I’m new to the Keep beta and also to this forum. First of I tried to look around for some post about missing/bugged plot points list in the forum but can’t find any. Thus it’s possible that this has already been raised to attention but anyway.

I’m currently trying to recreate my original play through of DA:O that I did on ps3 some years back. Between the character importation down and the ps3 being in a box this has turned out to be an exercise in memory =)

I think I got all the things down but one thing bugs me. I can’t get the Keep to agree with me that my female warden survived through the ritual with Alistair while he also survives. The Keep is quite persistent on the fact that either the warden or Alistair must have died.

My main plot points as I can remember would be:

*Female dalish warden

*Romance with Leliana

*Warden or Alistair fight in a duel resulting in joint ruling (I think) with Alistair as King.

*Warden kill the dragon and survive through the ritual with Alistair

*Everyone survives =)

Soooo Is my memory wrong or is the Keep bugged on the fact that it won’t allow for both warden and Alistair to live at the same time?

(And is their a list over known logical errors/missing plot points?)

Thanks for the help and keep building that world!

I've recreated my fave DA:O character and DAII character. (Main plot points)

Warden is;

~Ayleth Cousland, human noble, female, rogue.

~Romance with Alistair, rules as Queen alongside him.

~Alistair does ritual with Morrigan so everyone survives.

Hawke is;

~Aryoch Hawke, male, rogue.

~Romances Isabela.

~Bethany becomes Grey Warden

~Sides with mages throughout the game but at the end sides with Templars to try and control the massacre.
~Spares Anders, reluctantly.

These are my two most recent playthroughs. I have two older ones where the Warden and Hawke are mages and will recreate their world states as well. Such fun! :)

Yeah, this always seemed like a huge oversight by Bioware. I especially didn't like it because not all of the default decisions that Bioware uses when playing as an OW are ones I like. I enjoy the thought of having the HOF make all the choices I want then the US, but it sucks that you can't import that into Awakening.

That was a problem with the save files itself, and one of the reasons behind the idea of the keep

It's weird going back to my first ever play through to create my first Keep World State, so many choices that I had forgotten I had made and some are quite surprising.

I haven't played DA:O for so long, I was wondering if someone could help me with something?

I'm going just by the Completed Quests and Codex entries in my post-epilogue save file to do the Keep choices, but I've hit some kind of paradox road block.

Apparently I sided with the Templars, but also I freed Connor from the daemon without sacrificing Isolde. Is this even possible? The Keep doesn't seem to think it is.

Isolde's entry in the codex ends with "The Circle of Magi were finally called in, almost too late, and Connor was freed from the demon's power...", Connor's entry says "With aid from the Circle, he was freed from the demon's power..."

Irving's codex entry says he died, Greagoir's  says that the Circle was destroyed, and the Broken Circle completed quest page says that the Templars promised to join me against the Blight.

Could anyone shed some light? The Keep won't let me have Isolde lives and Connor free with the Circle destroyed.

It's not possible to side with the Templars and have both Connor and Isolde live. The problem is with the DAO codex, Isolde and Connor's entries are very buggy, and usually end up saying that they died when they didn't or vice-versa. My guess is that your original choice was to side with the Templars, and so you had to kill either Isolde or Connor.

Thanks a lot :)  That playthrough was a kind of help everyone hero kind of guy, so I think sacrificing Isolde to save Connor is the most likely option I'd have picked.

When syncing is back and the data from the Legacy BSN site is merged with the Keep will we be able to view the story options we chose from that?

Not sure if this is actually in the Keep, but I can't find it and there is no other place that seems appropriate to ask this question. What happened to the boons? Are they just insignificant? I can't find them on the Keep.

Even when syncing is back you'll still have to enter all your choices manually. The only thing the Keep imports is your characters' name, class, gender and portrait.

My First world state is a world in which I chose the best possible outcome while increasing a positive view on mages and elves
