Mage-male- was basically a total jerk except so far as to not ****** off Morrigan... Had baby with Morrigan. Killed Flemmeth (oops!). Did all the sidequests, etc. Sided with mages. The 2nd game I also sided with mages.

Even when syncing is back you'll still have to enter all your choices manually. The only thing the Keep imports is your characters' name, class, gender and portrait.
The boons aren't in the Keep. You can request for them to be added via the Fedback Button.
Right, but iirc the legacy website had a record of that character's storyline and major plot points, so as they are being merged I was wondering if that data would be accessible in the Keep.
Basically I'm asking if there is any other way to find out what your past choices were other than scraps of text from completed quests and codex entries. I've just had a look at DA2 and there isn't anyway at all to go back and find out what some of your past choices were.

Without loading up a save game in either DA:O or DA2, no, there isn't any way to look at your choices. The Keep has pretty decent descriptions for each choice, so you probably won't have much trouble getting things nearly to what you chose in the game. The Keep has significantly less choices in it than either game did (not a slight against the Keep), so just go with what you think sounds about right for what you did. Or go wild and choose stuff you never would while playing the actual game. That's the fun of having the Keep. ![]()

That's slightly disappointing. I've managed most of my choices for my default world state from an old save and memory, but it's annoying that there are some that I can't find info for or can't remember.
DA2 doesn't seem to have text for completed quests or many codex entry updates so it's almost impossible to find out the choices I made from that. The choices in DA2 don't seem as important though, so I'm not too concerned about those.

Yeah I feel the same, it would be nice to have the ability to look at some decesions in the saves.. I really dont remember some situations even after reading the info.

If you're having trouble remembering what you did in the game or if the info doesn't give you sufficient info about a certain quest, you should have a look at the wiki page for dragon age: http://dragonage.wik...Dragon_Age_Wiki
I had to do that several times when I encountered a wild "decision I had no idea I could do" ![]()

Anybody else besides me wishing the Keep would recognize multiple romances? (The ones possible in the game without bugs or mods.) Specifically, my elf Warden romanced Alistair, he dumped her when the Landsmeet decided to make him King, then she romanced Zevran and was much happier. While I consider Zevran the primary romance in this scenario (since he was the full "endgame" romance), I'd love to be able to choose the option where Alistair's duties as King broke them up. As it is, the Keep considers it a logic error and makes me choose "they were not lovers" in order to keep Zevran.
It's not a huge issue to me if they don't change this, but I would be very happy to have the option to include this detail, since it was relevant to the character's story arc.
Anybody else have this issue with their characters and the Keep?

For simplicity sake I don't see them doing this unless they add a "Did the Warden/Hawke filrt/porked with X?" instead of mentioning they romanced them and someone else. It can see it confusing plot flags in the game, and actually for DAO to DA2 it did confuse plot flags for some people causing broken saves which they want to avoid.

My Grey Warden is a Male Rough Dalish Elf by the Name of Bellthon Mahariel, Bell for short. He is firm and has a good heart but strict when he needs to be. He did not wish to be a grey warden in fact he hates it (its also a consent reminder of his failure to protect his best friend Tamlen life) but he learns there are bigger things at stake then his life and happiness. He is smart and a tactician on the battle field and always trying to find the back way in. He fell in love with Morrigan a wanderer of the woods just like him. He put Alister and Anora on the throne and went threw the mirror with Morrigan.
My Hawk is a female Mage by the name of Silvia. She is loud and sarcastic more then she should be at times. She likes to run head long into danger bashing strait threw the front door. She love's adventuring especially if it involves getting gold at the end. She shows no mercy to those that harm her family and friends. Her odd way of getting things done has worked for her but perhaps in her rashness it may be what cases her sister and mother's death a thought she may never be able to get rid of. She is a lesbian and falls in love with Isabella tho tends to flirt with other girls form time to time. She sided with the Mages of course but could not bring her self to kill her friend Anders there had been enough death in her life but she told him to run away and never come back.
My Inquisitor will be Vanath Cadash, Van for short. I will have to wait tell the game comes out to see what options they give me for the character but my thought is he has more of a criminal background being part of the Carta and wants nothing more then to go to work get paid go home and be left alone he is very rude an cares nothing of the wars going on. Tho he his different then most in his line of work in that he some times cant help but help others that are in danger and it gets him into trouble with his line of work, tho he is the best fighter in the Carta and at the end of the day he usually gets the work done. I think I will have him romance Cassandra

Played Dragon Age a lot of times, and mostly my decisions were the same.
DAO
Female Elf Mage
Romance Zevran
- Sided with Werwolves
- Sided with mages, saved the first enchanter
- Saved Conor, Isolde lives
- Ash is untouched, dragon and fanatics killed
- Alistair rules with Anora
- Branka is killed, sided with Caridain
- Behlen is king
- All side quests and quests from companions done
- My warden killed the arch demon without Morrigans ritual
DA2
Female Archer
Romance Fenris
- Sided with mages
- Bethany is circle mage
- Varric is a good friend
- The Arishok lives, Isabella is gone
- Again all side and companion quests done
There's one thing I have to say. I wanted nothing more than to join the Qun. Many people see the Qun as pure evil, but I think it's the best thing ever
In the first couple of playthroughs I simply couldn't give up Isabella. She was in my team and you have somehow to protect your buddys. In the end though... the qunari have every right to take her with them. I will create a world state in which I will always side with the templars, because in game I see the innocent mages and think "noooo you can't just kill them all!" well, something like that. Thank you Bioware for creating the Keep ^^

I'm new to Dragon Age, but I can say I'm obsessed enough to keep records of my world states on my computer before the Keep was announced (I really don't want to sound like a hipster, but there you go). So essentially, I came to the Keep prepared ![]()
I didn't sync my original characters into the game, I used the default options instead 'cuz I'm so creative. I'm not going to list every detail of my world state, only the essentials and some running commentary in the brackets that follow.
PS I just realized that this reply is way too long for a quick read but here it is anyway. Read it if you want. I'm open to discussing this.
World State 1 - Legacy of the Phoenix (Just because I found that my characters became highly reputable for their actions despite having tragic backgrounds.)
Elissa Cousland (Warrior) Your typical hero, but with a feminist touch.
- The Arl of Redcliffe/Urn of Sacred Ashes:
- Saved Redcliffe from the horde of undead and Connor from the Desire demon.
- Bevin's sister left with the money Elissa paid her for the sword. (I really loved the fact that she married Teagan after she rose up in society by running her own blacksmith in the epilogue so naturally, I chose this option)
- Arlessa Isolde is also alive.
- The Urn was preserved and the dragon was killed.
- Broken Circle:
- Sided with the mages.
- First Enchanter Irving was saved.
- Nature of the Beast
- Elissa brokered peace between the werewolves and the elves.
- Paragon of Her Kind
- Elissa brought Shale along for the ride in the Deep Roads, so she sided against Branka and destroyed the Anvil. (I honestly saw nothing but more death after finding out that the golems were made from live dwarves)
- Made Bhelen King. (Aside from wanting to carry on the royal line, my Warden wanted the dwarves to open up to the surface world)
- Denerim/Landsmeet:
- (Note about the companions: Every single one was kept alive and happy because
I'm a n00b and I need my supportI couldn't have finished Origins if I told anyone one of them to leave the group.) - Essentially did every quest except for the Crime Wave.
- Used evidence of Howe torturing Bann Sighard's son, Oswyn to bring Loghain down from the throne.
- Made Loghain a Grey Warden. (Naturally, Alistair did not accompany me to the Battle of Denerim but that was fine. I thought he whined too much for a warden in any case)
- Alistair and Anora are made rulers of Ferelden and although Elissa romanced Alistair, I broke it off well before the Landsmeet to avoid complications like this. (Plus, I didn't like Alistair and for me, being his Queen wasn't worth deposing Anora, who I actually liked despite having flexible allegiances but that's just politics in a nutshell)
- Morrigan made
a demon babyan Old God baby with Loghain, thus the Warden was saved after taking the final blow to the Archdemon. (I really don't know how this will turn out I really want to see what happens. Plus, what Loghain said during the ritual, "You'll forgive me if I imagine you as my dead wife." Hah! I loved that. I don't hate Morrigan but that quote was priceless) - Post-Origins/Awakening:
- The Warden chose to return with Fergus to Highever and rebuild. (I was hoping for Bioware to have the Warden's future plans and the chosen boon as part of the Tapestry.)
- Elissa became the Warden Commander of Ferelden and served during the crisis with the Architect.
- Recruited every single potential warden and kept them alive and happy throughout the game.
(Because I'm a people-pleaserI know this wasn't meant to be part of Awakening due to time constraints but I really wished that Nathaniel was a love interest. Honestly, why make such a respectable and awesome character when you've also made him untouchable? He's not a golem like Shale, he's not family to any of the origins and neither is he too old for any of them. That makes him legible, full stop.) - Saved Amaranthine and the Vigil; brought Nathaniel, Velanna and Justice to kill the Mother. (Again, I wanted every one of them alive after the attack on Vigil's Keep. I think I get too attached to fictional characters.
Shows you how sociable I am.)
Marian Hawke (Rogue) An unusual rogue who favours order and the Templars. (Call it an product of inspiration from Nathaniel, if you will. I know Nathaniel doesn't feel anything for either side, but he still favours order so I kept that quality in my Hawke)
- Prologue:
- Despite being a stickler for order, Marian is a rogue by nature: Charming and humorous.
- Naturally, Bethany survived and Carver died. (I have a younger brother so I was inclined to chose a Mage Hawke for this world state but then it wouldn't have fitted with my headcanon)
- Chose to work for Athenril and the smugglers.
- Act 1:
- Met and recruited every companion. (Being a rogue, I dodged every important decision until the very end when I sided with the Templars)
- Essentially, every quest I did ended up in either gaining favour with the Templars, killing mages conspiring with demons and blood mages, or gaining respect from the Arishok.
- Act 2:
- Started to become more sympathetic to the mages, but kept favouring the Templars with the one exception when I let Feynriel leave for Tevinter.
- I also became friends with Cullen but his view of mages is distasteful. (For many, he seems like a horrible character because of his history with the female Mage Warden and the rumours that he might have slaughtered mages at the Circle of Ferelden if they were given independence, but I want to see what's in store for Cullen. I didn't think BioWare would have made him a recurring supporting character if there wasn't anything to anticipate from him in Inquisition)
- Gascard DuPuis is dead. He showed up at the confrontation with Quentin and wanted to join him in his research. (Thank you Varric for killing the rat.)
- By this point in the story, Marian is friends with everyone except for Anders, with whom she is in a rivalmance. (It sounded weird for me to be friends with Merrill despite having different views about mages and spirits, but I can't help but want to make her happy. She's adorable. Anders, on the other hand, was mostly romanced for my headcanon. Plus, I haven't pursued a rivalry yet
again, the people-pleaserso Anders was perfect) - Overall, I did everything I could to gain favour with the Arishok in the hopes that he won't destroy the crap out of Kirkwall. Obviously, he did anyway and when he did, I didn't let him take Isabela, so Marian killed him. (Sadly, I was too much a n00b to play on anything above Normal difficulty.)
- Act 3:
- Trying to stop everything from going to hell, so I ended up tying loose ends, i.e. reuniting Charade with Gamlen and saving Nathaniel. (I loved their
bromancefriendship in Awakening so I couldn't resist tagging Anders along to the Deep Roads) - Marian still favoured the Templar Order.
- Killed the dragon at the Bone Pit.
- Plot twist: In the end, I had to side with the mages because Meredith was sending out an order for outright murder. Plus, I left Bethany in Kirkwall before the Deep Roads Expedition so she was brought to the Circle and I could neither kill her and every mage in the Circle nor keep her alive while I slaughter every mage in the Circle.
- I also didn't kill Anders, which was an injustice because what he did was just wrong. I also continued the romance after the Kirkwall Rebellion. (Headcanon reasons with this as my rogue being hesitant to kill him at the Gallows. Honestly, I thought it was too soon to kill him, so I wanted to bring him along on my travels and remind him how much of an
assidiot he was for destroying the Chantry and everyone inside it. Poetic justice, I guess)
No surprise, my Inquisitor is going to be a female mage. At the moment, I'm stuck between romancing Cullen (getting closure for the female Mage Warden) or Solas. However, I have decided to be a human though. That much is settled. It's not a preference for race, but more of a dislike for the Dalish. I try to sympathize with the Dalish and I try to find something about them I like, but honestly, it's just not clicking. Plus, I very much prefer having a history as a Circle mage. That way, I might get a chance to SPOILER ALERT ask Cole about Wynne and Rhys.

I wish we had the option to choose whether a romance in DA2 was a rivalmance, as that is the only way I romance Sebastian. I want a world state called "******* royals". MCousland with Anora who betrays or kills almost all his friends, kills the mages and the elves, keeps the anvil, executes Alistair and sends Loghain to kill the Archdemon. A FemHawke who rivalmanced Sebastian, sided with Petrice and the Templars, gave Isabela to the Arishok and Fenris to Danarius. Basically the worst two people to end up ruling over Fereldan and the two most powerful city-states in the Free Marches.
Out of curiosity, would your Inquisitor try to fix everything or truly make Thedas go to hell? I'm trying to picture the moment you step into Thedas as the Inquisitor and thinking, "Sh*# I've got a lot to do."

You know, one thing I love about DA:O is how all of the origin stories tie together. They're all canon, in a way... You just determine which character doesn't die. And each origin presents its own piece for the puzzle. In order to find out "the whole story", you have to play them all. Bhelen/Harrowmont and the two different dwarven origins are an excellent example of this, and so is the human origin with Howe. The Dalish origin is even referenced in DA2 with Merrill. The dwarf commoner's corpse can even be found in Jarvia's prison. I just think this sort of continuity is fantastic, and I don't think there's ever been anything like it before.
I do love that, which really makes the world and different origins like alternate realities. I wonder if anyone ever attempted a fanfic or thought about what would have happened if they all lived? Or they all lived and were recruited as wardens.

So, I have a problem.
Apparently Zev living is somehow connected to my warden being Alistair's Mistress? (I'd prefer he to be the queen, but apparently that's not allowed anymore
)
I can't make it so Zev doesn't die without also changing my warden, who she romanced, and who died fighting the archdemon.
If someone could tell me what I'm doing wring, that'd be great.

Nope, the Keep only allows for one active romance per hero. A 'fling' isn't a completed romance.
