No I'm pretty sure those quests are mutually exclusive in the game. The game where it wasn't bugged to think Nathanial was dead was the one time I didn't get to help Yevhen.

The Yehven quest in DA II was added, I believe, in place of the Nathaniel Howe quest for those who did not have the Awalening DLC. Nathaniel Howe was not a character in DAO and only appeared in Awakening. So I believe the Yehven quest was a reason to get Hawke back into the Deep Reads a second time if Nathaniel was not available.

Still, they aren't mutually exclusive.

Also, when I try to make it so that Alistair killed the Archdemon, the following choices are in conflict, which makes more sense.

Urn not being poisoned

First Enchanter surviving the battle

Warden supporting Mages

Romancing Morrigan

Conner no longer possessed

Old God Baby with Warden

Warden walking though Eluvian

Isolde being alive

Warden being alive and well

Alistair and Anora ruling Ferelden

Is it just me, or should those choices not have anything to do with Alistair killing the Archdemon?

The only conflict I see it OGB with Warden since no one dies if it's performed and only the Warden can kill the OBG when it happens. This would also force a living choice for Alistair hence why it auto selects for him to rule. Do you have any of the Circle connected choices locked? Since those would show up if so.

They ARE mutually exclusive if you can only get one and not the other. Which is how it was set up.

Alistair killing the Archdemon is in conflict with the Warden having an Old God Baby and Alistair ruling the Kingdom with Anora. The others sound like a bug.

Okay, guys are you ready? YOLO has given me the most broken worldstate I have seen in a LONG time.

In DAO

- Human male rogue

- Alive

- Romanced to no one

- Loghain executed by warden

- Alistair a drunk

- Remained Alistair's Mistress (Companion tile)

- Morrigan had OGB with Alistair

- Had a Relationship with Mardy

- Warden is Alistair's Queen (Landsmeet tile)

- Loghain slays the archdemon

In DA2

- Romanced Isabela

- Bethany joined the Grey Wardens

- Bethany died in the final battle (I thought this could only happen if she's a circle mage)

- Did not recruit Isabela

- Isabela returned with book

- Turned Isabela over to the Arishok

So yeah. Broken. I filed this but had to share, and this is just the stuff I saw that was conflicty. Enjoy!

I meant story wise, not mission wise. But eh. I guess it's how they wanted it.

Also, I don't think it mattered who killed the Archdemon. In Origins, as long as you had OGB (Warden/Alistair/Loghain) anyone could kill the Archdemon. The final blow didn't care who delivered it. I'm preeeeeetty sure of this one.

Is it possible to not recruit Oghren, yet reunite him with Felsi? I didn't think so, yet the keep allows it....Also, curing Dog but not recruiting?

I just wanted to be sure it was a bug, I've never tried it in game.

The Warden always steals the glory if there is an Old God Baby. There is no possible way to have anyone else do it in Origins unless they are saving you by making the ultimate sacrifice.

And now that you mention it... Yeah. And I was pretty sure of this one too. But why's it in conflict with Anora and Alistair ruling?

Because Alistair can only kill the Archdemon if he dies doing it. He can't rule with Anora in that case.

@the answers to my Nate and Yehven problem:

Thanks, then it was that problem in my play through, that it imported Nate as dead even though he survived in Awakening. So, then everything is correct. Good that I asked here first before using the feedback tool. :D

While it's not specifically about my world states, anyone else notice the new tile under Broken Circle about Cullen's request to kill the mages?

Yup! I'm actually curious about the autosolver checks on that. Is it possible to side with the templars and not go along with Cullen's recommendation? I've never taken that option in game and can't personally verify.

Yup a good number of us have noticed, more importantly, that we can have nine world states now. :)

Yes, it is. It's possible to disagree with Cullen, save Irving (and as many of the other mages at the top of the tower as you can manage) and tell Gregoir during the final conversation that he'll regret it if he lets even one blood mage escape. Greagoir then says that he'll send the rest of the mages to Lothering for interogation. This counts as siding with the Templars (i.e. it unlocks the achievement and you have Templars during the final battle.)

The obvious question is whether you can do this if Lothering has already been destroyed, but I'm afraid I don't know - the game where I stumbled across the possibility was one where I went to the Circle first.

You can also tell Cullen you'll do one thing and then do the other, although I think Wynne turns on you if you tell him you'll kill the mages, regardless or whether you actually do.

I'm finding that when I switch to a new "save" several of my world states will re-set to defalt.

I have a bunch of different different world states, but I'm admittedly the curious about one where Loghain lives, and has an Old God baby with Morrigan...since basically if you have Anora as Queen, he'd be her little brother, and maybe a prince. Technically. I just want to know if it will be mentioned in that context, or if all the stories would be similar, and the father doesn't matter.

I have a similar world set up. It will be interesting to see if Morrigan's child has any claim to the throne, either through Alistair or Loghain. Although even if they did I'm guessing that Morrigan will keep that under wraps. She has her sights set on more than just the rule of one country.

In order to save both you need to go to Amaranthine and have all of the upgrades for the Keep.

I'm thinking that the Child may just *be* the Inquisitor.

Leaving aside the fact that Morrigan doesn't have an Old God Baby in every world state, there is no possible way that Morrigan + Warden/Alistair/Loghain = a dwarf, elf or qunari baby.

Also, the OGB is ten. And a boy.
