Yup, you heard that correctly I just wished I was able to avoided it.

They put together such a fascinating, complex universe... I hate to see it torn down into the simple, black-and-white drumbeat of Racist bad! Racist bad! that we all had drilled into us since grade school.

Don't insult our intelligence. Give us more complicated characters than that.

I wish the comic known as Evolution has retacon the whole back story over Ash and her grandad. So according too the comics she was blacklisted for no good reason other than lol her granddad was racist. Then, the Kaidan comic came out suggesting he suffered PTSD from the incident with the Turian instructor even thought he didn't show any side effects ect. Or show that in the game.

Seriously. At the risk of sounding petulant, it's like they're taking some of the better-written character building and trilogy-spanning story arcs and retroactively dumping all over them. Alliance good, Cerberus bad. It's the Star Wars Original Trilogy "Special" Edition all over again.

Sometimes I have to wonder if the comics are intentionally trying to contradict as much of what's presented in the games as possible.

Damn, are there any ME comic books that are decent? I thought the Garrus one was pretty nice. Avoided the rest. In fact, I've seen reviews for Garrus's comic say that his is the only decent issue. Is that really true?

I think the comics are alright. You can find the anthologies at Barnes and Noble in the US now and flip through them if interested. It's not like you'll read them and think "DAAAYYYYMMMMM!!!!!"

I can at least confirm that the comic does not say that Kaiden has PTSD, and just because Gen. Williams tells Jack he's resigning doesn't mean that other stuff didn't happen (although it really does look like Mac did forget Ashely's backstory on the Gen).

I thought Redemption and Invasion were pretty good. They also tied in perfectly with the games. As for the homeworld series, I only have Liara's issue (it was ok, but nothing special)...so I can't comment on that.

I really didn't like the Liara issues I thought they were pretty mediocre for a comic book. I'm biased since I'm so use to better comic writers such as marvel or DC writers.

Yeah it did say he suffered PTSD symptoms but didn't come out saying he had the condition.
