I was gonna drop some snark in here -- probably "call the waambulance" or some bit about tiny violins, since I'm lazy -- but that post's kinda amusing. I suppose you've had plenty of practice with them

careful....he's a bit sensitive and may report you for making observations about his expressed feelings.

If he didn't I would.

They're just as bad as the "I'm sad so no one can be happy" crowd.  They're so dour.

Good for you lol

we're all sick of the "it's been two years and ME3 continues to make my daily life depressing, so let me needlessly inject my miserable existence into this thread" crowd. But we won't report you. We'll just point and laugh.

Tissue?

Some people do go pretty overboard though.

The ending of Mass Effect 3 is considered by many to be the second worse in the universe. In its initial release, many fans died of internal hemorrhaging, and Bill Casey survived by gnawing one of his own limbs off.

Except Spambot didn't say anything close to that.  But is getting trolled for expressin an opinion.

Because apparantly there's a statute of limitations on disappointment.  Now we need to either praise the game or go away.

Apparently making an observation of someone who willingly expressed their feelings on the internet is grounds for being reported by overly sensitive people.

He expressed his distaste. Yet, he didn't like his distaste being responded to. Seems a bit backwards to me.

At least you got to express your opinion back when the game came out; back then, if you defended the game at all, you were accussed of being either an idiot, a poseur, or, worst of all, a Bioware dev.

Yes, yes McFly, you are quite the bad boy. But you should get over yourself, thinking you made me cry. I think I have reported something like 1 posts on these forums, ever. And that one was not one of yours.

Maybe yours got deleted because it was pointlessly derailing the topic. Too bad it took my super witty comeback down with it.

I have no issue with people being critical, even a bit harsh in their criticism. If it wasn't for that, the Extended Cut would probably not exist. However, the hyperbole does get overbearing at times, and is rather hard to take seriously. I suppose it's not as bad as the goofballs that sent death threats over the crappy original ending of the Evangelion series, but still. Oft times though, you couldn't praise the game either in a lot of forums, including this one, without being referred to as a BioDrone or fanboy or whatever.

Ahh yes, I'm so bad because your negativity is amusing me. I contributed nothing, while you did what exactly? Oh right, revived a dead thread in order ****** and moan. Carry on.....

And has any of that happened in this thread thus far?  It was actually pretty civil before McFly got here.

Yes, it has. The overbearing hyperbole used was quite hard to take seriously. Hence, my not-so-serious response (that was apparently taken very seriously lol)

Actually, this thread was completely dead before spam got here with his sob story.

The Synthesis thread was dead for a whole two weeks before being revived yesterday, you gonna go troll that thread next?

At any rate, to try and drag the thread back on topic before being so rudely interrupted, I've done Omega both befor eand after the coup.  I think it works slightly better after, as it feels more like Shepard is following up and going on the offensive against Cerberus.

 Depends....

If you necro a thread for the sole purpose of going all emo, then you're just asking for it.

That's what got me; the fact that some people wouldn't even allow the possibility of there being differing opinions on the ending.  That and insulting language used by some, and the apologists who defended the nastiest excessess.

I guess BioWare slipped us the Emotional Distress DLC when we weren't looking.

My turn to get on-topic. Yay!

Do Omega after the Citadel coup attempt. (counter strike)

Leviathan should be spaced out a bit. Do the first mission after Omega. Do the second after Rannoch. And do the last mission anytime after Thessia.

I do the Citadel DLC immediately after Rannoch. Do the party right before going to Sanctuary. (you'll miss out on Miranda at the party though)

I do this with the narrative flow in mind. I find this way fits best with the story.
