As for me I'm gonna do both one playthrough without cheats and in the other playthrough with cheats. Sometimes I just like to mess around with the game ![]()
Are you gonna cheat in DAI or play it normally?

Hardest difficulty, no cheats, in fact the tougher the better, that way it is more satisfying to win. Second play through I'll use mods maybe, if there are any.

Thats' me in most games, thats why its so much fun that after all that "challange" I get to have fun in my second playthrough
Ah, then no. The closest I get to 'cheating' is using strategy guides, and that mostly just to know where all the quests are since I'm a completionist.
Thats cool, cause when you start modding and cheating it becomes hard to resist not to lol

RPGs tend to be offenders when it comes to power level. I recall in Skyrim, I had 60 points in heavy armor, full dwarven armor, and several of the perks, but a CAVE BEAR could kill me six hits. This was after I'd already spent an hour power leveling my heavy armor by letting a skeleton archer hit me over and over again as I healed myself.

My first playthrough I will do with no help and after that I will see what I missed and start another playthrough.

However cheating as in actually breaking the game to make it easier or to exploit situations with the story, nah, never.

Well DA:O does have an amusing cheating glitch in the stores where if you hit "Sell" and "Sell all Junk" simultaneously in the "Junk" section you'll get 2x the amount of cash said item(s) is/are worth.
I abused the hell out of this glitch to get all the top tier weaponry early. ![]()

I'll probably start cheating if the fights get repetitive. I always start out on easy too. We'll see, honestly...

I love cheating. Every time I've cheated in a game, I've come to enjoy it far more.

This is one of the reason I'm so glad that DA:I wont have level scaling enemies. If I'm level 60 and I fight a bear it shouldn't be able to kill me now because it's level 59 for some reason. And I shouldn't be able to kill a dragon just because I'm level 5 and so the dragon is nerfed. I remember playing Oblivion and I had this quest at a farm with goblins, and I went to tackle it when I was near end game and got killed, but then on my next play trough I went there as a low level and and completed the quest like it was nothing.
Non-scaled enemies give me something to work toward from the early game, coming back to kill that thing; and make it so I don't have to worry if I'm exploring an opening area that random super enemies are going to show up now just because... reasons! If I go back to the first region to find some collectable I missed or something the place shouldn't go from being filled with wolves to now having super trolls because I'm a higher level.

Depends very much on the game. I know a lot of people insist cheats somehow "ruin" a games experience, but I always cheat in Bethesda games for example and tend to put a few hundred hours into them with mods and cheats. With DAI, if I find something in the game play somehow ruins my roleplaying I will probably cheat, yeah.

This. Also did it in DA2 :3

Yeah... if by cheating you mean "look spoilers for certain quests to make sure things go the way I want them to" the I'll probably be unable to stop myself from cheating all the time. But I never use mods or anything like that to gain extra advantages in the game. I only ever use story and appearance mods.

I like to play my games (especially RPG's) Blind and as hard as possible, as as a general rule I have an aversion to cheating of any kind.
That goes for every playthrough, Cheating always seemed to be a self-defeating approach to games in my opinion, especially Single Player games. Any mental enrichment that can be eked from these experiences (As multiple psychological studies are indicating) is lost entirely if you're opting for first order optimal strategies, exploits and cheats.
Though I don't have anything necessarily against experimental cheating or exploiting, or even intentionally trying to break the game... I guess that probably muddies the line a bit, huh? Let me see if I can truncate that.
Cheating for accomplishment: Bad
Cheating for its own sake: Ok

TBH, or maybe I haven't looked too hard, but the only ways of cheating I'd seen in the previous DA's were all console type of things where people have to type invisible codes or find some editor or another. Too much trouble. I can't be bothered so, if cheating means saving before I do something, quicksaving, hard saving and choosing/loading which outcome I liked better, then sure. After play-through 4 or 5. Before that, I'll just play vanilla unless someone makes pretties like a new dress, skin or hairstyle. ![]()

I'm not going to for my first time through, but one of my few weaknesses for cheats is money cheats. While I'm okay with doing some level grinding, I truly hate cash grinding. I don't mind playing the game legitimate once, but after that? Well, I need my gold. ![]()

I will usually use cool mods for appearances and other stuff like that; never for uber powerful loot or anything that would give me an advantage.
I will definitely spoil myself on a bit of info though which could guide my playthrough (like aiming for a specific romance)

I'm playing on PS4 so there probably won't be any cheat devices or mods anytime soon. Though I wouldn't use them anyway. Though I probably will read up on game tips online if I get stuck, or paranoid I'm missing something important. lol!

For my first run I generally don't check things on faqs and whatever. So I'll be playing blind. Unless I go a long time without running into companions in which case I will look up what quests to take to recruit them. I'll probably miss some of them if I just go on my own.
