Are you gonna cheat in DAI or play it normally?

I generally find real "cheats" such as mods that give you some sort of power of the game as not worth my time. I like to play RPGs on hard or harder settings and find beating the game with the tools the game beat you as part of the fun of the game. I do go to wikis and such things to find out about things I have missed etc, that is about the extent of it for me.

Hardest difficulty, no cheats, in fact the tougher the better, that way it is more satisfying to win. Second play through I'll use mods maybe, if there are any.

Probably this first time round.

It depends on the player- if someone is playing through just for the story, gameplay might not be as important.

True. However there is easy difficulty setting for players only interested in story itself. Cheats are not necessary.

It always depends on the reason I need to cheat.  In ME2 I cheated the Firewalker missions because the damn thing kept blowing up and I was getting really frustrated and it was no longer fun.  Do I suck? Sure, I can admit it, but I play for fun and the Firewalker missions ended up ruining the game for me so I tweaked the ini and got back to having fun.

In DAO I played it straight for about a year on my 360 then cheated the crap out of it on the PC with mods and stat boosts etc. DA II I played straight once then supercritted my PC character it is demeaning to flee before the Arishok really threw off my groove. Besides when I cheat then I can pick the armor that looks the coolest no matter what the stats are.

I will play DAI straight Vanilla at least once because I always finish a Bioware game, then afterward I may cheat depending on what cheats are available and why I want to.  I do know if there are any mods I will be using them. Skyrim was boring until I started modding it then I ended up spending 940 hours in that world.

Depends. I always get games on PC for the chance of modding, and possible cheats. But it depends on the kind of cheats. I modded DA:O and DA2 but never used cheats as they simply weren't necessary. The easiest difficulty was enough for me to breeze through and enjoy the story. If there was funny cheats or a money cheat I might use it but I have never had money problems in a DA game. The only mods I got for them also were hair/eye/texture mods and a single armor mod I wanted to use through the entire game because holding onto armor annoys me.

So actually, no I don't think I'll be cheating in DA:i. I haven't in the previous so I can't see why I'd need to now. At the very least my first play through is always unmodded/vanilla.
