well..........she IS the Shadow Broker, so who knows, we might need her services. a cameo would be acceptable. it's good for nostalgia purposes, and adds a hint of familiarity, that you're indeed playing a Mass Effect game.
HOWEVER making her a forced LI and make stuff revolve around her again is NOT acceptable.

If Dragon Age is any indicator, she would never be an LI again, or any other companion for that matter. Anyway, they couldn't make stuff revolve around any non-follower characters anyway.

I'd like to see Matriarch Liara or old Grunt in a sequel. But as much as I love Liara, I agree that she shouldn't be a love interest again.
