I got the impression that the romance is racegated and/or that it's more of a fling than a standard romance.
Honestly? I would be satisfied with the Bull only having a one-night stand/fling, like Vega in the Citadel DLC. Heck, just an option to flirt with him would be nice, where he would turn you down or respond playfully or whatever. It's better than nothing.
Don't get me wrong, though. I would LOVE a full-fledged romance arc with the Iron Bull. He seems like so much fun.

I would be more interested if he doesn't have to learn how to commit to one person. He already knows how and thinks he'd be up for it, but he hasn't met anyone he clicks with enough to want to settle down with them (Or he has but the situation hasn't been right. I can imagine not a lot of people in Orleis would be willing to settle down with a qunari). He has met lots of people he'd have a fun night with though.
I mean it's not like sleeping around means you don't ever want to settle down or don't know how.

Honestly, I can't see how this would work if you aren't a Qunari..there has to be some health concerns.....Unless of course all those big weapons are compensating for something....

I wouldn't say her arc is about committing to one person (at least not in the 'normal' sense of committed), considering she still propositions Zevran if you romance her (although if you object she stops, but you can also join in). Her arc is more about trusting herself and trusting Hawke enough to fall in love. Just because the two of you are emotionally committed to each other doesn't mean you're physically exclusive. It may be the same case with the Iron Bull.
