[Underoath]

I was wondering what what everyone thinks of Dragon Age: Inquisition now that we have seen a decent amount of footage of the game? Do you have positive or negative view of what you have seen so far?

 

 

 

 

Personally, I think it looks great and could be my favorite Dragon Age to date. It looks like Bioware really took their time and put a lot of effort into this third installment imo.

The gameplay looks great! The characters are all growing on me.

 

If that Qunari was female then I certainly won't play as one like I originally intended...she looked more like a boy.

Pretty much the same, except a much greater interest in the soundtrack now. Perhaps the first time I am wanting to hear the game as well as being able to play it.

I really have no idea at this time.  It will all come down to the story and the quality of the companions.

Current opinion? Same as it was a year ago when the last demo was released. I can't wait! And now that we are getting to know the companions bit by bit, waiting for October is even harder than before

I think it looks great so far. My only real problem is the companions. Out of the 7 new ones(I'm including advisers and not considering Cole new) I'm only interested in one(Sera).

I felt pretty good about the game prior to E3 and I still do. Not enough to preorder it though. I've been burned in the past.

Before E3, I was ludicrously excited. After E3, I am trying to work out how to time travel through willpower alone so it can be October now.

Why would anyone have a negative opinion seeing what we've seen so far? Well, I'm sure they have some out there but I think the overwhelming majority is positive. That's safe to say, I think. The only places where I see negativity about this game is reading Youtube comments and how Witcher 3 will completely crush this game ignoring the fact they're different games and nobody is stopping you from getting both.

My impressions so far (off the top of my head): 

 

Graphics are nice, vivid colors, very interesting good looking landscapes and beautiful detailed foliage. The environments look ''alive.''

Female Qunari looks way better than I expected, I absolutely love it. 

I don't like the combat, it looks exactly like DA2. Too flashy, ugly fighting animations that look like frames are missing, too many color explosions, twenty feet backflips, way too fast, weapons and people have no weight... All my fears came true and I see no improvements besides the return of the tactical camera. 

Outside the combat the animations are extremely good and fluid, so is the animated robe the FemQunari is wearing-. Nice detail. 

The dragon is beautifully animated and I like that its possible to target different parts of the beast. Makes fighting big monsters more interesting. 

I still don't like the inquisitors clunky default armor. 

I still don't like the dialogue wheel. 

 

All things considered my excite-o-meter is at level 7 (from 10. )

Not sure the youtube comment section is entirely trustworthy... I mean that's one of the big areas where  the trolls decide to look for food.

Also noticed the party icons moved to the top left of the screen, it was at the bottom left during PAX.

I was fine when they only had the little gameplay sessions showing them playing the game in the pre-alpha vid. I just thought it was cool seeing the rogue carry a torch. I am thrilled with seeing the character model of a female Qunari. I really want to see a female dwarf and an elf (other than Sera).

I feel like it's going to be the greatest RPG of all time, in my OPINION. . If the game is everything they say it is, it's going to be amazing. I don't think they'd lie about multiple different endings would they?
