I would have thought Cole would have been written to appeal to Twilight fans which I am sure a large majority of Dragon Age fans would also be into.

Unfortunately the bi LI are the most likely to be race-gated, since that will spare the animators more work. I suspect there will be no dwarf-loving for the Iron Bull.

As much as I would love this romance. I think Bull would be restricted to the taller races, most likely human and Vashoth. 
But with his personality, he's totally gonna be be my Fem!Dwarfs bro!

It always leads to a three page discussion on mammalian penis sizes. If the people who posted it want to discuss penises, they can just do so without being coy......

I'm a little disappointed that it's sounding likely that Iron Bull is going to be race gated. I also really wanted to do an IB and male Cadash romance. I was planning on doing only qunari and dwarves in DA: I, so it looks like IB might have to be a LI for one of my qunari guys instead. He sounds like a pretty interesting guy, so I'm looking forward to it!

There's no guarantee of that. And really other than being short, you can't really call a dwarf delicate.
I agree that the "anyone who won't break" thing is silly if it's meant to refer to dwarves. They are specifically known for being the sturdiest and hardiest of the races outside of qunari. To me, that sounds more like elves than dwarves.
However, Alan has hinted that there might be animation concerns, which has led people to think that dwarves (being the shortest) would be the hardest to animate with a qunari, so they would be out as well.
I'm still waiting for confirmation, but I'm assuming the worst just to keep my optimism in check for now.

Love knows no boundries, or does it? First I have heard about racial restrictions for romances, I heard about gender restrictions but not race restrictions, will certain races be locked off from certain romance options? How many love interests are there in this game?
Most romances in a Dragon Age game. So at least 6 - 7. David Gaider confirmed race gating about a week ago.
I have no problem with it, if only for animation issues. For inlore issues, it's already stated Iron Bull won't sleep with someone who he thinks he'll break and Varric has already said before he's not interested in humans.
