I shall add this to my list of reasons why Andraste is a false prophet

Tis the reason I do not want anything to do with the chantry. Nothing but fake priest stating false testimonies. At least whatever morrigan believes there is some truth behind it.

I never did it because I love Morrigan but I'm curious. What does it SAY when you pick the option (I never paid attention)? You know some times before pick one of the options with an action like murder knifing it will say (Slit their throat) etc

I actually enjoy Morrigan as a character, it's just that I always have my canon run (personally favoured choices and those with a decent ending) and then I will have the irrationally evil run for fun.

I am a big fan of Morrigan (the Noble Cousland Hero+Sneaky Witch of the wild romance being a big part of that). I've come to the conclusion that the Couslands and the Starks from Game of Thrones are surprisingly extremely similar and the romance reminds me of Jon Snow+Ygriette quite a bit. A gallant, noble warrior-hero falls in love with the witch, good guy falls for bad girl and slowly watch her shell crack and some her beliefs even begin to change. It's just a really great romance arc and i really hope we get to hear something about the Warden from her in DA:I if the romance is active in the keep, especially if he went into the mirror with her and also more info about the OGB.

 

I hope that she isn't just aiding the Inquisition out of the "goodness of her heart" lol and has another super secret alternative motive that will increase her power. I want there to be songs sung about her in the future (good or bad) and stories around the campfire like Flemeth.

How does everyone think that Morrigan is going to function in relation to the Inquisition?

 

I keep thinking that she is going to serve as an advisor of sorts, but if that were the case, you would think that Bioware would come out and just say that she is an advisor like Cullen, Scribbles, and Leliana.

 

I'm really hoping that she will at least take up residence at the Keep. It would be kind of annoying if, everytime we wanted to converse with her character, we have to trek half way across Thedas to Orlais.

 

That's a very good question. Morrigan seems to have a plan in mind, so she might reach out to the Inquisiton if the Inquisitor is gaining influence and power, especially if Empress Celene's future as the leader of Orlais is called into question.

i think she will be a plot character, not part of the inquisition.  she is celene's arcane whateveramabon; but she will eventually steer you towards missions to shut down the fade tears

That's my thinking as well, but they also said they didn't want to make her just a " plot point", so I'm hoping for a little more than just ok I need you to do this for me kind of thing.

I think Morrigan's story will be tied directly with the major rip in the fade thing going down and also be connected with the Orlais conflict, maybe that is where you will first meet her. It looked like the Inquisitor was with Cullen and Morrigan somewhere outside of a city though in an image i saw a while ago so maybe she is one of the temporary companions that was mentioned (sorry i don't have the sources, this is all just stuff i heard).

 

I think she will have a pretty big part in the overall story of the game but perhaps not the Inquisition itself unless maybe she wants to try and befriend and/or manipulate the Inquisitor so the Inquisition can do her bidding. I feel like she will be offering her help but just like in origins have an ulterior motive that will come out in the end. It sounds predictable but it would make sense.

 

Overall i just hope we get to see her a lot. I think out of all the non-main characters of the games she will be the one who's name is remembered in the dragon age world for centuries to come.

 

sidenote: Replaying Origins with the Morrigan restoration mod and i really can't wait to hear from her in DA:I

I could never bring myself to stab Morrigan. She was my Warden's best friend.
